  • Print approximately 300 pages on a single black ink cartridge* Both cartridges must be installed in the printer and must have ink in them.     Works very well and get decently printed pages when we do a lot print jobs! But If you do a little printing then the standard capacity cartridge might be the better option.

    Original Canon ink does work better than the generic alternatives. Unfortunately, it costs a little more but I guess you get what you pay for.

    I definitely only recommend this product for Canon printers that use the 245 Cartridge. It comes with the standard size in cartridges and I chewed through it in a couple day. Granted, I use the MX492 printer as an office printer so it gets a lot of use. I'm not thrilled with how Canon limits print area to certain paper sizes with no flexibility but the print quality is great.

    Store associate, bless his heart, advised that other Best Buy in town only had a different item. I bought the ink believing that I better buy it before it's no longer available, noting it was the last packet and the ink is being discontinued.

    Recently I purchased a different brand, but compatible. It was XL size and ran out of in way too soon. I will stick with Canon only from now on. I couldn't find ink anywhere, then found it on BB website. It came so fast, and with school at home for everyone, we really needed it!
