Having a printer is never having to say I had enough printer ink. Regardless of printer brand the printer cartridges never last long enough. This high yield cartridge helped give us more ink that lasted longer than most cartridges but still seems to run out sooner than expected. It is the curse of printer ownership. Since I used a Best Buy point certificate to purchase this cartridge it took the sting out of buying ink. So 4 stars is the Best I can muster for this review.

I gave the sales rep the number for black ink, at this time I was using my computer every day, looking for a job, and submitting applications, so the rep mentioned to purchase the extra capacity which made sense, so I made purchase quickly and was done

This canon ink cartridge was on sale on line. It's a canon XL cartridge, not a generic. The ordering and delivery were great, no problems. The ink lasted quite a while in my canon printer/scanner.
