Great first time DSLR camera

It can do so much but if you don't want to do anything but point and shoot, the full Auto mode does great. The pics are high resolution 1080P and when you zoom in on a pic, its highly defined, not grainy. We bought this for our 10 day HI vacation next month and I can wait to utilize it in all it's functions.
