  • Print approximately 300 pages on a single black ink cartridge* Both cartridges must be installed in the printer and must have ink in them.     I definitely only recommend this product for Canon printers that use the 245 Cartridge. It comes with the standard size in cartridges and I chewed through it in a couple day. Granted, I use the MX492 printer as an office printer so it gets a lot of use. I'm not thrilled with how Canon limits print area to certain paper sizes with no flexibility but the print quality is great.
