    My previous Canon ink recently ran out after a long run. I always like to keep a new pkg of printer ink on hand so I'm not stuck when the ink runs out. So this new purchase is to be the back-up when my previous back-up was put into service. I don't open the new package until I'm ready to put it in the printer so I assume this one will work as well as the previous one.

    I needed this ink and I couldn't find it near me, so I checked Best Buy and they had it. I was surprised that shipping was free and delivered to my home for an inexpensive item. Thanks, Best Buy. I will certainly check with your company for ink and other household and office needs. I am using this ink and it is performing adequately.

    It is fairly expensive, albeit not as expensive as many others. Perhaps I'm just jaded to the way these companies do things, but at least Canon doesn't put third party cartridge blocking firmware in their printers. On another note, this cartridge feels like it has an average capacity level, and does print well all things considered.

    Store associate, bless his heart, advised that other Best Buy in town only had a different item. I bought the ink believing that I better buy it before it's no longer available, noting it was the last packet and the ink is being discontinued.

    This is a good quality Canon 245XL ink that provides much more ink than regular black ink pack. I buy it for my wireless printer to print black and white contents mostly. It's more efficient than the regular black ink pack and prints more pages per dollar cost. However, if you print 100 pages a day, you can easily use it up in 2 days. It only prints for the total number of pages as what's advertised if you print only a few pages per day separately.
