    As usual, the printer was very inexpensive but this cartridge wasn't. You have to have replacement cartridges, so there is no choice about what you have to buy. The printer seems to work well though.

    I like that Canon makes a high yield ink cartridge because it is cheaper to buy than regular size. I still feel that they are expensive and may go to generic brand after the warrant;y expires on my printer.

    After draining the pack-in cartridge for my Canon printer, I was skeptical of the XL cartridge, but I ended up purchasing it anyway. Because my household mostly consists of bargain hunters, we frequently print out coupons for promotions that don't accept electronic coupons, and it has outlasted the bundled cartridge. Although I am satisfied with the longevity compared to non-XL version, it seems like I might be purchasing 3 XL cartridges per year. If this increased capacity cartridge was made for almost-everyday printing, it's still not enough.
