    The regular CLI-281 cartridges seem to run out of ink very fast even when not printing in color. The PGI-280 XL lasts somewhat longer. I try to save the colors by printing black-white documents in PGBK only. I recommend using XL or XXL but these seem hard to find. When printing in color or printing photos, however, the quality is very good on my machine, the Canon Pixma TS 9520.
