Ink cartridges do not last long, are expensive, and most stores do not carry them- rarely find them at a big box store. It seems like I hardly print, and if any color goes out, you have to replace that color, or you can not print at all, which is inconvenient and costly.

Most of my printing is done in black and white. The colors deplete very rapidly when they are used which is very annoying. I'm really disappointed with this product.

I like the fact that you only have to change only the ink that's low. you don't waste ink like with those combination cartridges

I love my Canon and the sharp printing - but - I think the ink is a little expensive. I prefer printers that let you buy only the color that you need not a multi-pack for $60.00

what i needed you had it in stock . I sent my son he was in and out very quick . They even looked up my account as I am high risk and don't travel unless necessary.

Easy to get, very fast ,helpful associates. I wish it was on sale

Actually, I didn't use this since my printer died and i had to buy a new one.

I recently purchased a Canon printer from Best Buy. So far I am very pleased with the performance of the printer and the ink cartridges.

Only 4 were usable. The BK 281 was missing the piece that holds it in the printer. Way too expensive to be unusable/defective.

Pricey and runs out extremely fast. I just installed mine not long ago and one of the cartridges shows low already.

Delivery unacceptable. Our house is down a long lane, not visible from the street. Our order was left in the open, beside mailbox on street - anyone could take it and we would never know. See your own picture of your delivery. We can not rely on this type of delivery so will need to pursue other options in the future.

Opened item to find empty ink cartridges. Returned item for replacement and received package of ink that had obviously been re-glued shut. Returned that without opening it but rather than replacing the item they credited my account. So I waisted hours on the phone to get it straitened out and then lost my 10% discount to boot.

These ink cartridges are a rip off. Even the xl barely cartridges has ink. Save money and buy the printers with the liquid refills instead. I rarely use the printer. Only to print return labels.

The ink cartridges are not full. This is totally unacceptable! I will no longer buy Canon ink for my printer. How can they charge a premium price for ink, and only fill them 50 to 75 percent?

I have found that I get almost double the amount of copies from my canon printer and ink than I did from my HP.

Easy to install, but it would evaporate after only two months of very little use. I returned it when I returned the printer.

Ink is literally how printer companies stay in business. It is sad, very sad, how they get customers hooked with a printer and block cheaper ink from being used on their products. I hope this rating serves as a reminder that consumers are taking note of this shady business practice.
