    Quality ink. Enough said. I don't bother with refills. I've never had a problem with bad ink or bad cartridges. It may cost more for name-brand ink, but it "costs" even more if you have a leaky cartridge or the ink dries up quickly in the cartridge or on the print head. Just do it!

    I never tried any brand than Canon since I’ve been using the TR8520. I’ve been buying this 5-ink tanks since individual tank would absolutely be pricey. They last pretty good and the installation is a breeze. Surely, there are budget ink replacements but I wouldn’t sacrifice quality especially in photo printing.

    This ink prints great on a variety of papers and last a decent amount of time. I have not done pictures yet but who is now a days? All in all ink is expensive but with moderate use you kind of get your money's worth.

    I price compared this with Sam's Club and this was the much cheaper option. The cartridges come out to about $12 each which is not bad. They are small and I don't do much printing so I haven't used up the original cartridges that came with my printer. Curious to know how many sheets I can print on one cartridge.
