As with all print cartridges they are expensive. I hardly ever use color, just black, but the color cartridges mysteriously go down, maybe evaporation? the main issue is when a color cartridge needs replacing, even though I have ink in the black cartridges and all I want to do is print in black, the printer is disabled until you replace color cartridge. Very inconvenient and irritating.
