Can’t go wrong with name brand

You get what you pay for I guess. The printer sometimes doesn’t like the generic stuff I.e. says it’s empty but it’s actually not.

There are "compatible" products that are significantly cheaper, but they will be more expensive in the long run since you will be replacing the cartridges more often. Besides, I would only trust the manufacturer of the printer with the print cartridges.

I selected the Cannon printer because I like to purchase the individual ink cartridges rather than one cartridge with all ink colors inside. This way I can change ink on an as need basis. The Cannon ink works great. Have had no problems and I am very pleased with the bright colors.
