    I've only printed 12 pages (without much wording and no graphics) and it used 30% of the new XL size. We loved our old canon printer as the ink seemed to last forever. Dislike the new one that uses 5 inks (2 different blacks and 3 colors) even though we only print in black. So much for the environment.

    While this is set for XL I've found that the ink level isn't as grand as that label implies.

    The black ink runs out too quickly. These printers are designed where they get you on the costs of the ink. Very small ink package for the price.

    Ink does not seem to last long. Always upsetting when ink needed for printer is so expensive

    Not sure if it's my printer using a lot of ink or these ink cartridges just don't come with that much ink but it doesn't seem to last very long. I don't use it for anything except just home use. I don't print much but it seems like I have to replace these cartridges quite often. Very expensive for the little amount of output
