I usually love Canon products, but this printer had problems out of the box. I should have followed my instincts and returned it then, but the issues were minor and I have it a chance. Over the past 2 years it has been one problem after another, document feeder ALWAYS jams, lost ability to print color a while back and now doesn’t print at all. All troubleshooting was performed and nothing helps. This printer was a lemon and I am very disappointed, dissatisfied and this printer was a waste of money. Ink tanks still have plenty of ink so that is not the issue. Unlike my previous Canon printer which lasted a long time, had touch screen controls, and easy to use software, the software package that came with this is abysmal.

I like the product. The printer works fine, it's quiet and has reasonable quality. The scanner will only work over my LAN if it is hard wired. Had ISP check router setting and signal with no problems reported. Had two different IT techs check network but no one can find the problem. Canon tech support says something is blocking the signal but couldn't fix it. He suggested ISP or Router. I don't seem to be getting anywhere on solving the problem.

Love this compact printer. It had every feature I wanted, had large refillable ink wells, and performs as promised! The wireless connection let's me easily print from my phone or computer. The duplex printing is great for saving paper. Great machine!

The printer is fine except for the laughable plastic part designed to hold the paper as it exits the printer. I expect multiple page print jobs will have sheets spilling out from it. The print quality was excellent. What makes it a poor buy here is having to deal with Best Buy's customer service department. I returned the printer rather than be tortured for several years as the printer needed servicing.

I have been using this printer for 3 months. I purchased it new from Best Buy. We own a small trucking business and I need to scan tickets/invoices weekly and email scans to brokers. The scanned images are dull and faded. I am not able to scan and walk away to work on something else because it jams and I will come back to an incomplete task with an error code. Not sometimes - but every single time. This printer requires you to stand there and help feed each sheet individually. It is not fully compatible with my MAC. Finally, I have had problems with the settings staying put - it tells me that my paper size is incorrect when no changes have been made to the paper since the last print that ran through successfully.

fast, quiet, fully capable, and ink wells! It brings me great happiness to not ave to purchase ink cartridges for the cost of a printer anymore! Borderless photo printing is outstanding. Canon did it right with this model. And the price was really good, especially for the infancy of inkwell technology.

Easy to set up. Don’t like that it shuts off after a few idled hours and Not in a sleep mode that WiFi would bring back to life when called on

Took a little time setting up as I’m not that computer savvy. Once I understood the workings, it works great! Printed a few photos and the quality was fantastic.

I like the front load for the paper and the easy way to refill the ink tanks it has made a big difference from the old printer, I recommend it to anyone who is looking to get their first or an upgrade printer.

Great price, in stock, economical to support and has all the features I was looking for in a new printer.

Copier is OK, but needs light in screen so you can see what you’re doing

Saving money and the environment with the ink tank feature is a real plus. Not being able to duplex scanning is a negative.

Good printer for home use. I connected to home network via ethernet and need to change a couple of settings but nothing rocket science. I print photos from time to time and roughly print 50 pages a week and didnt have any problems at all.

I continue to have difficulty networking it into my computers. Have looked through all of the manuals, have had a network guy look at it as well as trying to contact Canon. No go.

Makes a lot of noise getting ready to print.......

Good printer. Instructions for use not empirically obvious to even the experienced user.

This is by far the worst printer i have ever had. Constantly loses the wifi signal, remite printing literally never works and the control panel is extremely awkward. It seens to be on its own way. We keeo trying to start ovet but nothing seems to work. Getting ready to go back to HP. Simple n easy,

works better than the hp previous printer when they say all in one it should include fax machine

This is probably the hardest printer I have ever set up and I have set up many printers... The instructions are plentiful and you have to read between the lines... I was a able to Youtube and find help... with that said... Once set up it seems to be working well. The unit seems well built and functions well... we will see how it turns out:)
