Poor quality. Every time I need to print I hold my breath.

do not buy this printer,it is almost impossible to setup!

Just bought this printer at Bestbuy.com. I did some research before hand and some of these reviews here are misleading. It does have an extendable arm to catch the paper so there is not paper all over the floor. Set up to WIFI was easy. Do not try to use the online manual for this. Manual is setup screwy and hard to understand. Go to www.usa.canon.com - Put in the name of the printer - Click on Support - Wireless Help - WIFI Printing - Wireless Setup on Windows Computers (or whatever you have) and it will show you PDF set up instructions that you can print out which I would suggest. Just follow the directions. It was simple. Also you can turn off the shut down option. There's probably more I haven't come across yet. Print quality is really nice. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Have to restart/connect several times every time I have to print

I got this for the double sided printing ability. Unfortunately it's so slow I just went back to using my old printer and flipping the sheets over manually.

This printer worked good and it was sort of loud and to be honest i was only getting it for iron on transfer paper and it printed well however an inkjet tank was a better option for me in the long run but this printer has a great photo quality printing but it is very slow

Hated it! Hard time getting anything to print Color quality sucks! Literally just took out in the driveway and beat it to death! Done!

Other reviews were right. It was hard to connect wireles with thIs printer. But you need research for yourself. Don’t go to YouTube , it’s not helpful at all. Go to ‘canon pixma manual set up guide’. I followed this instruction and 1mins later I printed out the first page nice and clear!! Don’t be angry. be patient. this printer is perfect for the price and 3In 1!!!!!

Great printer for the price. Highly recommend.....

It’s a good printer and really slim so it fits nicely on my small desk, but it’s not super user friendly. I’ve already had issues with it giving itself a paper jam. The set up is also kind of confusing. However, it does it’s job and it does it well. The colors are very bright and the ink is solid.

This is an awesome printer!! It replaced one that was identical to it, and the previous one lasted for years and was trouble free. The price was also excellent--about the same price for new black and color ink tanks--which come with the printer. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. I used to go to Fry's, but now I'll be a loyal Best Buy customer!

My original HP printer stopped working. Rather then to troubleshoot the problem, it was cheaper to just buy a new printer. I went online, and order the printer to be picked up at the store. I received my notification it was ready for pick up within 15 minutes. I originally was going to buy an HP and stumbled on this Canon. The price was excellent, and it had all the bells and whistles I was looking for. I did not look at any reviews before buying, and when I brought it home and followed the booklets that was enclosed. I was up and running within 15 minutes. I was amazed that people thought it was difficult to install. I literally just follow the instructions, downloaded the software, and I didn't even have to reconfigure my Wi-Fi. I even figured out how to print from my iPhone! I have not read how to scan, but I quickly figured out how to make copies. Overall a very simple machine that wasn't that difficult to understand. Just follow the pictures in the instructions and you should be fine.

Quick delivery, easy to setup, you only need black ink to print, color there just in case you need it, pretty quick print speed, just what I needed -- basic printer.

Upgraded to this printer from a non wireless printer and I'm glad that I did. I love being able to print from all my apple devices using the canon print app. It is important to set up the printer and take off all the orange tape and plastic before trying to find the printer under wifi settings (if setting up printer with iOS device).
