Here is how to connect to your WIFI system EASILY

I put this here in 1 star land even though this is a 5 star printer. The biggest complaint is how hard it is to set up with wifi. I too struggled for over an hour until I found I could easily set it up using a Google Play Store app called "Canon Print Inkjet/Selphy . I have an android phone, but it should be in the Iphone store as well. Just follow the instructions in the app and it does the job. Now I can use the printer on every computer on my wifi system. Why Canon doesn't just tell you about the app in the instructions is beyond me. The thing works great !!

When it works it actually does a fine job. However mine is constantly getting disconnected from wifi and then the only way i can get it to be recognized again is to put the Setup CD back in and reinstall things. Even the install of that usually fails a few times before i can get it to be successfully recognized by the other devices in my house.

Trying to switch from wireless printing to wired printing or then back to wireless it’s very confusing and about impossible to do. It’s way too much trouble to even try I would never want this type of printer again.

    Not able to connect wifi

I bought this printer and tried to set up in home. But when I tried to connect to wifi, it was not even initiating a connection. Called cannon customer care, but the representative was reading the provided instructions once again, but he was not able to provide any solution. wasted couple of hours. Finally returned back. Looks like there are wifi issues. Careful when buying.

    Canon 3620 wifi junk w/Mac

The wifi compatibility with this printer for Mac is terrible. Not an easy connect and not well integrated, it is so frustrating to someone who is tech savvy that I will be using a cord. With that said you get what you pay for. So for $35 I guess all you can expect is it to print a piece of paper, which it has successfully done so far thus meriting its 2 stars.

    Incomplete connection instructions!!!

I purchased the MG 3620 Canon Printer. I began assembly and got to a point where I could not move forward, I reread the instructions but to no avail! My son came over to help, he knows tech. So he began from the first page of directions and got to the same point that I did and was stumped too. So he got out his phone and got Utube and connected with a man from India who led him through the completion of connection and it works, but there were many steps not in the instructions!!!! We could not have completed the connection with out utube!!!!!

Long time ago I purchased the Canon Pixma. I am surprised this unit is still in being advertised. About 3 months later it stopped working. I brought it back to be repaired and I was told they don't fix the printers I'm better off getting a new one. I do not recommend this printer to any one.

I javent had the item a month and i cant scan anything. It wont connect to the internet. I had an HP all in one for at least 6 years with no issues until recently. I purchase this one because the reviews were decent and it was on sale, unfortunately its been an inconvenience.

Canon - Pixma MG3620 thumbs down

i purchased this printer for basic use. Once I unboxed the printer and intended to initiate setup it was a disaster. I was unable to connect via wifi or usb. I have a hp on my network that connected with ease. I returned this and purchased a epson xp-430 which also connected without problems. I am glad that i was able to return it since i went in the next day.

    Hell to setup

This printer is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE to set up. I'm fairly computer literate, I read all the manuals and followed all the steps, I've been trying for literally hours now, and it will not connect to the wireless network (and does not come with the USB cord that you need to connect manually). I have NEVER spent this long trying to set up a printer before - this is absolute trash. I can't tell you anything about the print quality, because it would have to have the ability to print to do that.

An hour wasted and still unable to install the piece of garbage. CD rom wouldn't work and neither would the website. Tried numerous times, restarting the pc, unplugging the printer and everything else I could think of. Have no idea what to do other than return it. Running Windows 10 so it should work. I have to keep unplugging the usb connector as it says the printer isn't recognized. May try wireless but it shouldn't be this hard.

It should be mentioned that in order to wirelessly print with this printer one has to rent the application. For 5 dollars a month or 50 dollars a year.
