I needed a printer for the occasional scan and copy task for home use. This printer does just fine and comes with some impressive software. It does everything I need and more. I use Windows 10 and the printer installed wirelessly in just minutes. The print quality is as good or better than more expensive machines plus it has only two ink tanks, black and color to save money on ink.

Great working printer, easy to set up and easy to use.

Works great, easy set up. Only draw-back is there is no auto-feed, so it takes time when copying or scanning multiple documents. Great other than that.

Printer is great, and does everything its advertised to do. The scan quality is good, it prints relatively fast. Also, once connected to the canon app you can do things from your phone (print, start scanner, etc). However, I came across what could be frustrating to some people. I setup the printer using wifi and the canon app only. The instructions are okay, and give iphone and android steps. However, there are some steps that were difficult to understand without using Google to look up additional instructions/videos to add my printer to wifi. That being said, if connecting it via USB to your computer, you should have no problem at all.

I can't say this is not a good printer for the price. However, I am returning it to the store and getting one with more functions to fit my needs. For one thing it does not reduce and enlarge documents which I want. I was never able to connect the printer wirelessly to my PC. I'm confident that could have been remedied but I have decided to take advantage of Best Buy's return policy and get a more expensive and I presume a better printer.

I bought this printer previously (2 times) but we gave it up because we moved. I love this printer. It is not expensive and it does a great job.

Easy installation and connecting to WiFi. The instructions are easy to follow.

It really isn't as loud as people claim it is. In my opinion, it is normal printer loudness. Set-up is annoying and hard to figure out if you're not familiar with technology. I am familiar with technology and even I had trouble setting it up to work with my WiFi and not use a USB. I had to go through the printer phone app just to connect it.
