Nothing fancy, just a basic printer/scanner/copier. Works well, a little slow w/ printing, but good value for price.

After changing my wifi router and modem, this printer refuses it to factory settings and I spend over 20 hours trying everything on the canon website and manual trying to set it up for a new network. Please do your self a favor and do not buy this product at all, it is cost-efficient, but it is not worth it. This printer is bulky and looks awful with any decoration. I had to return it to canon since it has passed the return date from Best Buy. It has given me nothing but headaches and I have been very upset trying to work this out. I am tech savvy so I know what I was doing. I wonder how inexperienced people would feel. Please do not buy yourself a problem such as this printer.

didn't have good instructions and would not work as a wireless printer had to use the USB port to make it work

Works well so far. Menu is a bit confusing to work through and functions you want can be hard to find as they are buried within menu options.

Canon printer, very good/vivid color printing. Compact design, don't take much space. You can close it when not use (prevent dust and looks nice).

I love canon printers and have had them for years. This one was a total disappointment. If you print pictures from your iphone is freezes up. You get about 4 pictures and then it stops. If you print regular paper you have the press the button 20 times if you want 20 copies. Ink is super expensive and really not worth it. My last one was the same price and it did everythingl This one is just not up to par. Buy a different model.

This computer prints fine but the set up was VERY difficult. There is no screen on the printer to read to assist with wifi setup etc.

After my 3500 took a major dump, and it was too expensive to repair, I had it for 2 yrs., I had a few new ink cartridges, I looked for a comparable printer using the same size cartridge. This one fit the bill, was on sale, so I bought it. Works great for the $$$.

The price for the all-in-one printer was great so I thought I would try it. I bought this Canon printer to use for small tasks. The copy function works great. However, installing the software was beyond frustrating to get the wireless part to work. I spent hours trying to set that up. I finally got it to work (after countless attempts). The wireless function only works on the network it was installed on. So if I take the printer to another location, the wireless functions do not work. The printer will work when connected via a USB cable.

I've always used HP printers, so I'm not sure why I chose a different brand. It's a basic printer, I'm sure it will get the job done, but it wasn't for me. So I returned it.

    Wireless printing not working consistently

I'm pretty good with technology but this has been a challenge. I followed all instructions and like most of the computers and printers this is pretty much plug-and-play. All worked fine until the next day, nothing worked. Had to completely reinstall everything. Worked fine printing wirelessly, but again the next day nothing worked. I emailed back-and-forth with Canon customer service and did everything they requested. Same thing – working until the next day. Finally I gave up and just hooked it up with the cables and use it that way. I would've thought the cheaper one that didn't offer a wireless .

Had a previous printer by Pixma, and loved it... always smart to check out cost of cartridges too, and these are always reasonable. Love this new one!

Everything works well with the exception of the wireless (Bluetooth) connection. I tried everything but I finally gave up and bought the cable to connect the printer to my laptop.
