Printer ribbon doesn't work properly. All distorted. Cheap!

I have had this printer two days. I HATE THE FKNG THING! Nothing about this printer makes sense. I had a home HP and it lasted over 13 years and was so easy to use and had everything including fax. This printer SUCKS!

Couldn’t get it to connect to my WiFi. Restarted the printer, my modem, and router multiple times, and just wouldn’t work. Seems to be a really common issue with these and unfortunately it’s true.

Awful. Does not feed., you literally have to hold up the piece of paper, and glide it in just at the right moment and you better do it fast if you have to print more than one piece of paper. Beyond frustrating.

Having problems getting straight vertical lines printed as in bar codes

I would give it 0 stars. I bought it to scan my photo albums. No way to save pictures to files on my computer. I called Canon and menu indicated there was no warranty and i would have to buy one. Terrible product.

Just bought this printer at Bestbuy.com. I did some research before hand and some of these reviews here are misleading. It does have an extendable arm to catch the paper so there is not paper all over the floor. Set up to WIFI was easy. Do not try to use the online manual for this. Manual is setup screwy and hard to understand. Go to www.usa.canon.com - Put in the name of the printer - Click on Support - Wireless Help - WIFI Printing - Wireless Setup on Windows Computers (or whatever you have) and it will show you PDF set up instructions that you can print out which I would suggest. Just follow the directions. It was simple. Also you can turn off the shut down option. There's probably more I haven't come across yet. Print quality is really nice. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This model is no longer supported by Canon. Drivers are not available so I cannot configure the printer. Also, no paper feed.

Very bad to set up it took hours to see what was the problem

The sound is off the chain and does great! All I could ask for and price is right

So bad, maybe I just got unlucky but my printer was defunct and I had to call Canon and they sent me a new entirely different model of printer because the one I received from best buy was so jacked up (no idea why!)

Printer does not print when document is sent. Will take sometimes 3 times for it to print a full set of documents and half of my ink has been whipped out due to unfinished printing and me having to restart again. Will print 1 page (unfinished) and the second blank and so on.

Terrible!!!! Worked fine until the return window closed! Now i can't get it to print hardly anything! Keeps saying it out of paper when it's not!!! Then if it does take paper it rips it in half?!?! Don't purchase!

We were looking for a 3&1 and small also light weight for our RV. This printer fit the bill. I was unable to connect to my wireless network called tech support and got us up in running in no time at all. The quality of the printer output is supper and is easy to use.

Invest in a better model, this economy model has been known to have roller problems, and sure enough, after 1 year, ours started with a paper jam error code, and there is no paper inside. I would not recommend it.

It did not function. During attempted setup, I called Canon, who offered to help for a fee. All who I spoke to said my Internet was fouled up. I returned it & bought a wireless HP all-in-one for under fifty bucks. The HP works like a charm.

Returned item. Unable to set up without downloading app, etc. Had Canon previously lasted long time but this one not as simple to use.

Spend a little bit more money on a printer. This one takes forever to set up and it doesn't work the way it's supposed to.
