I have a small home business and this printer fills my needs for printing invoices, mailing labels and all my correspondence.

The printer is easy to use and was inexpensive for the brand

Kind of hard to set up. Instructions are not the best. Prints great. Haven't figured out how to scan yet.

I like the sleek looks of my wireless printer. It is easy to print copies, fax and print.

This all in one does what I want it to do. The only complaint I have is it's really pretty loud when getting ready to print. I'm still working on understanding the software that came with it with respect to scanning to my desktop. Not sure yet I like it.

I purchased this printer for my home to use for basic printing. I love that you can connect it to wifi to make printing easier and more convienent. It was a great price as well.

I have wasted the entire evening trying to get this thing to print my state 1040 tax form, INCLUDING the actual form part, consisting of all the gray shaded areas that clearly delineate each question / section, the boxes to check off / fill in, etc., but no matter what I change the settings to or how fresh the ink is, it will not register any of it. It just has a completely blank, white background, and I therefore spent entirely too long trying to find the elusive signature “box” to sign it, because there was no box at all!! I know this is an issue specific to the Canon, because my mother’s Envy was capable of printing it just fine, but it’s out of ink and couldn’t print more than one slightly faded test page. Moreover, since it is an official IRS document, I am reluctant to take a chance and just submit it as is, which is NOT as it appears in digital form. Even printing it as an image still results in the exact same thing, the printer doesn’t even perceive the form part. I’m guessing it’s to do with the color palate or something, but I’m no expert, and it costs $20 to purchase a customer service subscription if you want to speak with someone on the Canon support team, and which is $20 more than I’m willing to pay for a hit or miss, scripted conversation with a call center rep. So, I guess I will just be replacing the ink in my mom’s printer pronto, and keeping this maddening experience in mind the next time I am in the market for a new printer.
