Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the PIXMA MG6822 Wireless All-In-One Printer's print quality, ease of use, and wireless capabilities. Many appreciate its compact size and the reasonable price. While some found the printer a bit loud during operation and noted the lack of an internal paper tray, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these minor drawbacks. Overall, the printer receives high praise for its performance and user-friendliness.

    Lots of hassles

This printer does a nice job when it is working well. It took me two days to set it up with the help of Canon Tech Support (which was quite satisfactory). The initial software install simply did not work. (I was a computer professional for 40 years - not a beginner at these things.) Setup for wireless is quite complex. Now that it is working as both a printer and a scanner, I frequently get false diagnostics on the panel ("No paper in tray" is almost constant, and today I had "An ink cartridge was removed while power was off" - NOT.) In short, it has been a hassle, but it was VERY inexpensive. It provides incredible capability for what I paid. I will not return it, and just learn to live with it.

Thought this would be better than it is. Great wireless features. However, paper gets jammed VERY easily. Frustrating!

Noisy, didn't want to set up...

Took two hours to set up, after trying two USB printer cables, and reinstalling it. Didn't like the two cables I normally used. Finally got it to print, but took five minutes to print a document from WordPerfect... And it was just one page. Also VERY noisy... It seems to want to clean the heads after each thing it prints...very annoying. Returning it tomorrow!!

Unpacked the printer and followed all of the setup instructions exactly. It wasn't complicated. Turned on the printer and got a meaningless Support Code 6000 message which could not be cleared. The included documentation is useless. I googled the error but couldn't find anything useful and Canon support is nonexistent. The only suggestions I found were to clear a paper jam and restart it. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a paper jam as it never had paper in it. It is getting returned and I won't be buying another Canon.
