Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the PIXMA MG7520's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality, with many praising its convenient setup and sleek design. However, some customers expressed concerns regarding the printer's noise level, limited paper tray capacity, and occasional reliability issues. The warm-up time was also cited as a potential drawback by a few users. Overall, the positive feedback on print quality and ease of use outweighs the negative comments on minor inconveniences.

NOT HAPPY--a very poor product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always owned Canon printers as long as I can remember and I love them even though they're not very ink efficient. However, this printer has got to be the worst printer I have ever owned--aside from Epson. Setting it up was a nightmare. It took 2 days and over 2 hours on the phone with Canon. Once I got that resolved, now it prints when it feels like printing. And it takes at least 5 minutes for it to delete from its memory when I try to cancel printing due to all the errors of printer not connecting. I need to shut everything down and then restart and try again. It tends to print only blank pages...and that's when it's thought about it for a good minute. Once it decides to print, it is a great job. And I keep my fingers crossed that the rest of my jobs will finish printing. However if you have a big job, like 7+ pages...it tends to forget it's been asked to print and only prints about 3 pages at a time. and then you need to delete and start all over again. Good luck in getting it to print that is. If you make one mistake--like forget to turn the printer on before you start printing, forget it. You have about a ten minute job ahead of you getting everything to work again because everything stalls and shows errors all over the place. This was never the case with any of my other canons...they just started printing when you pushed the on button. I think I installed and reinstalled this thing about 10 times...it installs perfectly on PC, AWFUL problems with the MAC. It just won't connect well with ANY computer in the house though. CANON told me it's a problem with my WIFI. I have Xfinity cable--I don't have a problems with anything in the house connecting. My last printer never had a problem connecting. So I don't buy it. I have no issues streaming. Nothing. My last canon was a $50 cheapie that lasted 4 years until my kids put earrings own the printer and broke it. I miss that printer. On top of that it is loud as heck and it takes forever to start to print. Once it starts printing (if it is going to print and not give me a blank page) then it is fast. However the printer feels the chintziest of any of the printers I've had so far. Cheap plastic, the design is ridiculous. You have two trays on the bottom of the printer...one part of the printer just pops open when you need it to print so you need to make sure there is NOTHING in front of the printer if you don't want loud noises that make your stomach cringe. And you are constantly needing to tell it to register with the tray you are trying to print from. It only takes about 30 sheets at a time. I have printed about 10 pages, only about 2 of them had color on them and my ink tanks are showing they are half full. REALLY? The guy in the store told me about 500-1000 pages, maybe even 2000. I printed TEN. I am very disappointed--obviously this is a lemon. Canon, you can do better.

Nice Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."All-in-one" printer doesn't fax. Should be renamed "Some-in-one". Very nice photo printing. Very easy to wirelessly print from iPhone. Scans and prints documents well. Almost gave it four stars but the software is needlessly confusing.

Great Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great printer. After going online to see video how to setup printer.. The paper setup is confusing. The WIFI was easy to setup on printer screen.

Updated from model earlier in the year.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have the MG7120 which is almost identical & has been working well for six months. The newer 7520 adds NFC which only applies if you have a compatible device (phone) to transfer pictures from. Ink is still 6 colors & excels at photos but a little pricy if you do mostly text.

Amazing printer, definitely worth my money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this printer as a college student. It's great for wireless printing from my phone and my laptop when I'm in a hurry in the morning. It comes with a small starter pack of photo paper, and I've loved printing photos with it so far. Great quality.

great while it worked
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this printer when I bought it about a year ago. The photo prints looked great and really enjoyed air print. It was slow to warm up though (each time we got ready to print, it took about 5 minutes to warm-up but subsequent print jobs were fine). in mid-June 2017, we had a power surge in our neighborhood and the only thing that no longer works in the house is the printer.

Can Print 300 4x6 COLOR PHOTO
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this little guy. It can print up to 300 color 4x6 photo with the stock ink set that came with the printer before running out on the color "grey" and with very nice overall photo quality. Worth every penny on this little guy.

Dead in 18 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It stopped printing in less than 18 months. There was no remedy! Tech at Best Buy said it was common for printers to stop printing after a year. I suggest you buy an extended warranty.

does not work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this on Friday, set up Sunday evening, and one of the ink cartridges would not work, BEST BUY would not replace the cartridge but would replace the printer if I bring it in. $200.00 printer or $12.00 ink cartridge? Lousy customer service as I will ask for millage for my car shuttling a defective product, also will ask for time spent setting up and taking down. I will return on Tuesday for a refund and go to Sams club and buy a printer from them. It"s probably a very good printer but have to give a BAD REVIEW TO BEST BUY

Not for printing envelopes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this so that I could produce colorful invitation envelopes. Upon setup, I discovered that there is no manual feeder and the printer tray can only hold 5 envelopes at a time, AND the input tray is blocked by the output, so you have to close the output door to access the input tray to load more envelopes. So if you're wanting to print more than 5 envelopes at a time, forget it. And the printer will botch 3 of those 5 by trying to pull them in all at the same time. Terrible design.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this printer on a Saturday, tried to set it up on Sunday and out of the box got an error message as soon as it was plugged in. At the store they raved about Canon customer service, what a joke. They are closed during the weekend, so I sent an email and had to wait until this morning for a response. The response? The error message requires a service call, they will happily send me a refurbished printer to replace my brand new one. Terrible. Needless to say we will be returning our printer this afternoon and go with a different brand.
