Negatives: Bigger than I expected. I also had a little trouble with the set up process, and paper feeding through smoothly. Positives: I like the color and it looks nice. Haven't had chance to really put it to the test yet, but seems good for now.

Much slower than my previous Canon that this one replaced and also rather "touchy" as to when it wants to work. Also had to hard wire it because after being on the telephone with Canon for an hour and a half we still couldn't get it to work.

It takes too long to warm up when first turned on, then it takes too long between printing jobs. Too complicated compared to other printers to use. Pictures could be better quality.

It was time to replace our old dinosaur, and I did a lot of reading before the purchase. We wanted to go wireless. Tried it a few years back with a "free" Dell printer, but could never get it working. It was a big pain to set up. Still have the Dell laptop, but mostly using Apple these days. iPhones, iPads and a Mac. I have always wanted to be able to print from my phone, but thought it would be too hard to set up. Bottom line, we bought the MG7720 and found the setup to be very easy. In one evening (an hour or two) I had every device printing wirelessly. The toughest was the Dell (go figure) but once I figured it out it was no problem. My wife and I are printing easily from all our Apple products. The quality of printing is very good. 4x6 photos were at first a little dark, but we quickly got the hang of it. So easy to print pages from the Internet. We highly recommend this printer. Keep in mind it is not small. Not as big as the old beast, but still has a pretty big footprint.

Printer works fine. 3 weeks in and several phone calls to Canon support and I STILL can't get the scanner to connect to my Mac. Would only recommend this item if you have a Windows based machine.

bought this printer to replace similar, older model which died suddenly. this printer does a decent job but the kicker is, the replacement ink cost just slightly less than the the whole printer.

Great Printer, only complaint, use a lot of ink, and ink is very costly, and every time you insert paper in the tray, you have to register what kind of paper you are placing in the tray.

The salesperson wasn't at all knowledgable and gave me incorrect information re this replacement printer. I'm having difficulty scanning with it and it goes through ink very quickly.

Great 3-in-one! Color prints and scans are fantastic quality. the only gripe -the cyan blue ink vanishes!! like im still on the original yellow, but the blue is round 42!!

i bought this after I had significant trouble with a cheap HP printer. Well, this one, though more costly, was no better. It's fine if you're printing black and white strait text but god, getting it to print an envelope or on different size paper is trying my nerves. I've had to start handwriting the few checks we still use and forget about a professional looking envelope. My handwriting looks like a 6 year old did it. I find most technological products are more and more cheaply made. It's sad.

Printer is too complicated for the average person. You have o go thru too nany steps to print. Also the ink for this printer is quite expensive and goes fast.

The printer itself is nice but there was some trouble setting it up. There are instructions online but still had some difficulty setting up the wifi.
