good cheap printer

This is a good basic copy/fax/scanning machine.

Don't waste your money on this printer

It took a call to India to finally get it working on the computers (2 hours of my time) and the following day it wouldn't work on my laptop. Over the years I have bought a lot of Canon products and this one is terrible. The setup on the printer itself is clunky and not user friendly and it does not readily recognize different sizes of paper, like # 10 envelopes versus 81/2 x 11 paper. If it hadn't been the week-end and my wife absolutely needing to print things for her classes, I would have taken it back immediately.
