I have had my printer for about a month. So far I am very satisfied with its performance. It works wirelessly, prints quickly, and scans with quality.

Prints very clear, but it wont connect to the cloud. I had to get a cannon app and run it with a different software. The manual states it will connect, but I haven`t had any luck

Set up was annoying. I should have spent a bit more for a better unit. Not bad, does what it's supposed to for basic office and crafts.

It was hard to set up for a fax. I had upgraded to this model and found that it is quite different. I had to look up the set up for a fax online. Also I went to their website for the software and drivers. It was a much cleaner install. But I can print from my smart phone, fax, wireless laptops, and desktop. For the price, you can't beat it. The only con is setting up the fax settings so you actually send something off. Also I had to fax only by the scanner bed when wanted to use the top loader. There is a way, it's just not that clear. I'll figure that out later on.

got this printer because it was one of the cheapest ones I saw, but it works great. I'm able to copy, fax, and scan. I like how it has a screen for messages and alerts, and I LOVE that it has a feeder to copy and scan a lot of papers at once. Definitely recommend it. I also bought the warranty plan.

Super easy to set up! Love the wireless printing!!

Only problem is that sometimes the auto feeder feeds the paper a little off-center, but it only happens once in a while depending on the paper being fed. The print quality looks great, and it's fairly quick for copying and for printing. Also a smaller footprint that previous Canon printer/scanner so fits nicely on the desktop.

it was a pain to set up. i had to try to find it through the internet and it took a lot longer than i had patience. i'm sure that someone more savvy with electronics would have found it easy.

This printer is great for copies, scanning and regular document printing. Ink seems to last a little longer than previous versions but I print on draft settings. It is well worth the cost.

Prints great, hooks up easy and is so far durable!!

Quiet, fast, small footprint. Doesn't take up a lot of space. I only wish that the LCD screen would tilt/light up rather a fixed position.

This Canon printer was bought as a present for my father in law. He has a small office which fit great in. This would be great for a dorm room, office, and even at home. Quality of printer is great as well. Overall I must say this is a quality product for a wonderful price. Thanks Best Buy.

I went and bought this printer because the one I had before (not this brand) needed cartridges and they were priced just about the same as this printer, go figure- I’m glad I got this one. It’s easy to use and is also a scanner and copier. So far so good and I’m happy with this product

This printer serves its purpose for me. It has nice features like a feeder for copies or scans. One complaint: No where on the box does it say that it does not provide a cable for connecting to the computer and the sales rep said that the wireless set up is easy. HE was wrong. The wireless set up was not easy. I was on the phone with Canon for a couple of hours. The wired setup was much easier and the cable from my last printer was fine.

Bought this for my father, his old printer didn't work with his new windows 10 laptop; so I was trying to find something affordable, with all in one, print, scan, and fax that would be easy for a 75 year old man (that is not computer savvy) to understand and use. It has been perfect, I set it up, showed him once how to use all the features and he's been faxing and printing without my help. It's been a win-win with this one.

My previous printer died, and I needed a quick replacement. This one was on a real good discount, and had all the functionality I needed. As a bonus, I could use my old ink cartridges.

I always read reviews before I purchase any items and I always do my research as well. This item is a great item for an inexpensive amount of dollars. You know the saying "You get what you pay for" well I'm glad I got it because it's really good and prints well. Fax have no issues that I stumbled upon as yet

Amazingly I've read a few reviews on this printer and found that several reviewers had a hard time setting up the device. My first hand experience was rather painless, but I run across a few items in the instructions that could have led people astray. All in all, I'm happy with the all-in-one printer.

As I was doing my research among printers, I came across the Canon Pixma MX492 and I'm glad I did. Its a great home printer that fulfills your basic printing, copying, scanning, and fax needs. Setup is pretty simple and it comes with a lot of perks. I would definitely recommend this printer to family and friends, plus the cost was under $60. You can beat that. Buy this printer. You won't be disappointed.
