Good for cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This printer is good for its price point (I believe on clearance at Best Buy locations), however, lacks functionality in terms of some of its selling points: Difficulty configuring to wireless networks was a drawback but finally got it done; definitely, have experienced easier tethering to wifi home networks. Another issue is lack of support from canon on scanning functions, Canon website states that downloadable tool can be used to facilitate scanning to computer however once downloaded I was not able to scan to computer. Further investigation led me to discover that this tool does not actually support the model #, so there is a gap in their software support. Definitely a disappointment to purchase an item for 20-30% more than non-scanning capable printers only to find that scanning does not work.

Good home printer
