Hard to set up. Basic printe. Noisy hard to navigate buttons screen hard to figure out. Would not recommend . Get one with electronic screen.

Inexpensive printer. Wish I would have upgraded. There is often a delay in printer. My 4th Canon printer and my least favorite.

I bought this printer when my epson wf2540 broke. The mx942 is very difficult to setup and has misleading info on the box. The box says it has scan to cloud options, it doesn't. It will scan to a computer via usb or on the same wifi network. If that computer has the canon scan software installed, and it's firewall is configured correctly. If that computer is setup to sync folders to the cloud then you can set up scanner software to scan to those folders and then the computer will send to the cloud. This is fine for me because I have an always on computer in my house for automated stuff. The wf2540 would scan directly to several cloud services without a computer, so this is what I was expecting for the canon. The menus are not very clear for setup, and the screen is difficult to read sometimes. The speed and quality are decent. In the end it works well enough now that I've got it setup that I'm not going to bother returning it. But I could see it being very difficult if not impossible for some people to setup the wireless scanning stuff. Wireless printing worked right away on all my macs.

I had to return this printer because it wasn't alining and was double printing thank god i had the warrenty on it.

I had to order a cable online to connect my laptop to the printer. I am STILL trying to get this printer working.

Have not been able to use the wi-fi function. Instructions are not clear and concise. Also printing pages are so slow!!!!

The printer is not bad for the price, but it must be turned on manually, there is not a back light for the display panel.

It's too slow and I have to keep inputting the wireless connection password each time I try to print from my iPad

It works fine for like a week, then it's all jam jam jam every print you make. Buyer beware

It didn't setup. I returned to Best Buy and purchased an HP printer.

At first the printer was working well, but after about 1 month it went downhill. It'd only print half then stop. I used to be able to print from my phone but that doesn't work anymore. I would try to print the same paper 5x's but it wouldn't even register that something was trying to print. Wasted a lot of ink trying to print the same paper.

The printer came with no ink in the box and i had to print my paper out for finals classes

When it works, it’s great. It connects to the internet, but often does not print

i have owned Canon printers before and this one is definietly a disappointment Quality is very cheap

This printer seemed to be what I needed, after recently moving and needing another one. A bestbuy employee advised it and everything. It wasn't that helpful. It keeps disconnecting, it doesn't have Airprint and you have to keep changing it's setting.

The ink for this machine is too much. I wish I would’ve stuck with hp.
