Returned Printer because I could never get it to pick up the paper

Should not have listened yo the sales person. I will not buy Canon again.

Prints well. Wireless works flawlessly. Very easy set up.

Is only been 7 months and am having problems with my printer is a Canon

Didn't work out of the box, was advised to return it.

Not crazy about it, in fact I hate it. Not the best.

Too slow,takes forever to open,printer never works...

I don't use this printer for professional photography, or anything that requires a high quality printer. I simply use it to print documents. It gets the job done and it prints very well. With the color, it takes some time to print but it is also pretty good, but not the best. I recommend this printer for a light-user like me. I also tested the other features like the scanner, copier, and fax, and they also get the job done. Please do not hesitate to purchase this product if you are a light user and want to get the job done. Although, if you are a professional photographer there are definitely some better products out there. Overall, a pretty good device. :-)

Simple, complete, easy to install, compact. Purchased for parent. Will use mostly to print photos of grandkids. Too new to comment on ink replacement frequency and cost. Sale price is competitive and fit my budget.

I bought the MX492 as a Christmas gift for my Mother to use and to replace an older Pixma and scanner that were rendered obsolete with the Windows 10 update. This MX492 seems to be feature packed, and the wireless feature is very nice, but for not so computer savvy people, this could be hard to figure out. I'm hoping she will figure out how to use it soon.

helps to not have to connect using cables. so far has done a great job with the printing, really haven't taken advantage of other uses.

I have had mine for about a week and so far this printer is all it says it is. It does take a little time in connecting the Wi-Fi but I have found on Canon web site how to videos and it seem to have done the trick. It is a very useful site. The printer prints nice bold black and white colors and so far I have no complaints and for the price it was money well spent.

Overall, this printer is a great printer for it's size. It's compact and light. It does the basics very well and because it's a Canon, the print quality is good. Where Canon lacks (and only gets 4 stars) is their lack of print size flexibility. If you like borderless printing, this printer only allows you to do it on certain size paper. Unfortunately, you can't get closer than a 1/4 in without it cropping the print (similar to a copier). If you need that flexibility I have had success with other brands.

Easy to install, great price, prints in nice quality, the only thing I didn't like is that it don't print large (11x17) but other than that, it's an awesome buy!

I did a lot of researching online before I bought this one. Quality is great, price is awesome, and WORKS WITH WINDOWS 10. To my dismay I discovered when I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 (for free) I found out my old printer was not supported on Windows 10. Well, this Canon mfc multifunction office printer works great on Windows 10. I am able to not only print, but scan over the network and fax as well. It works flawlessly...

Gets the job done but it paper jams extremely easily. Very user friendly so the set up was a breeze however you get what you paid for. It feels like cheap plastic and the paper jams are annoying.
