This Canon was purchased because we needed a new printer for a new location and had used a Pixma in the past that we liked. This printer was on sale for $40 and I had a reward coupon for the same amount which was one of the main reason I chose it. We've had it for about 3 weeks, and so far no major glitches. The print is decent and I like the fact that I can feed papers into the top to copy. It was a little aggravating to connect all of our devices to it originally, and I wish they had better instructions included, but we were still able to figure it all out and it's worked well since. My teenage daughters really like it. Not a bad all-in-one for the price.

A representative from Canon was there to help me with the specs. He said that this printer is eco friendly and that the ink cartridges don't dry out easily. Also, it's easier to scan documents and it's cheaper than the other printers I compared it to. So far, I'm happy with the print results and scanning...haven't tried the fax yet.

Small easy to use. Need to read Manuel to scan, as scanning and saving documents take time.

This is a good printer for the money. This is the second mx 492 I have purchased from Best Buy, other was for my mom. This will do everything you need, with the main extra of being able to copy or scan multiple documents from the feed tray, as opposed to one at a time. Also the ink cartridge is supported by Costco refills. So this printer will pay for itself with reduced expenses.

Replaced a 10 year oil fax machine with this up to date machine. Works great.

Got it on sale. Great printer for its price. Disappointed that printers no longer come with full size inks. But it works great, the Canon app could be better though.

Bought this to replace older Canon that I was very happy with. It works the same as older model, except paper feed is in front instead of rear and buttons on top rather than front. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is made more " flimsy "than old model. ( cheaper quality ) . But is does each task well. I'm satisfied. I also like the feature that my tablet can print as well. Used with an IMac.

Good low cost printer. Currently have it networked to 3 other computers and works well. Occasional issue with after market ink but that could be the ink cartridges. Original Canon ink works great but as always it is expensive.

It's so easy to use my daughter is loving it, she's constantly printing from her smartphone.

Prints are nice. However main reason purchased was for wireless printing. Tried several times to set up wireless. but will not work.

This printer works well and was somewhat easy to set up. The wireless is not as easy to set up so I've decided to use the cable. I'm used to a physically more durable model, but I don't expect to be opening the top for copying. Good value for the money.

This printer is excellent for a lower end printer. It produces excellent color photo's using pic. paper. Speed is not that great but most ink jets are that way.

In this price it is good. For home small project, ink is not bad in price
