My other Canon printer went down after years of usage. My wife went to Best Buy and found this one. It does everything I need it to do. Fax if I need to. Scan, Print and its very easy to set up and use.

I bought this printer to replace an antique. It was easy to hook up and to set up. Prints good and is faster than my old one. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is my 3th Mx492 it works like a charm,,,,,the only reason this is my 3th printer is I damaged the previous 2nd MX492 Dropped and broke, while moving.

I wanted a printer for daily use and a scanner for loading my artwork to my computer. Setting up the printer itself was very easy but getting the WiFi connection became a major hassle. After several hours of swearing and help from friends I was able to convince the printer to work. I would prefer a wireless connection but it looks like it will be better for me to buy a printer cable at some point (printer did not come with cable). I have also had some frustrations with scanning images. When I've tried to scan pages from my sketch book it will either cut off the page, alter the colors or save it as a PDF file. I'm hoping with some more research I can figure out how to make this work. for me.

Printer is good, shipping was on time. Installation was easy. Price was also good.
