It does a good job at what it's supposed to do. Easy to use and set up. I have not used the fax setting but everything else was good.

Instructions really were helpful The printer is excellent and its booklet really made everyone relaxed in getting it to work quickly.

I paid half as much for this printer than my last one. And so far so good. My last printer broke down just outside the warranty and I was as we say SOL so hopefully this one lasts longer than that ...

Gets the job done, slow page time. Slow to connect to Wifi when powered up. Print quality is very good for this price point.

It is made of a very light plastic and is flimsy but does it does the job. Noisy too. Lots of klicking.

My wife and I are pleased with the Pixma MX492. The reviews that I read gave me hints about potential stumbling blocks, so we were able to avoid any complications during installation and operation. So far faxing, scanning, and printing operate flawlessly.

I updated from a 10 year old HP which was a fine printer for its day. But this Canon is so much faster and the network connectivity is a real plus. It's a pretty decent picture printer as well.

This little Canon printer cost me less than forty dollars on sale! I can't say the same for the ink. It's alright for the price paid>

I bought this printer after going into bestbuy looking for a different one, and I am so glad I found this one. I have not had any issues and am able to print wirelessly,copy, fax. Probably more than you need,but can’t beat it for the price.

3/4 stars because wifi setup was a PAIN. Had to call helpline to walk thru manual setup. Online default driver not correct driver. Pushing proper buttons to manually setup not that logical. Support guy was good and got me thru process within 15/20 minutes. I had played around for 1-1&1/2 hrs. before calling. Would rate higher if wifi easier--a novice would probably lost all of his/her hair, given up & just hooked up hardwired USB cable.

Was a little hard to connect to wifi and download the driver to my computer but after that it was smooth sailing. Prints nice and clear and quick.

This printer has excellent copies. Works well and much faster than my previous canon

This is one great printer. It does everything we need with its all-in one features.

Have had some issues getting it to connect wireless. Outside of that it has been a fairly reliable printer.
