It's a solid printer for the price. I haven't used any features outside of printing and scanning. The printing works well and it's relatively easy to use. The scanner works well, but it's cumbersome when you have many pages to scan (since you can only scan one page at a time).

I love the Pixma MX892. Great for photo printing quality, leave no streaks on paper. Downside is that it does not print onto DVD/CD directly.

Seems to go through ink quickly and isn't compatible with older Canon cartridges. The quality of the print is fine and the features (scanning, etc) work well although slowly. If you want speed, don't get this model. Pay more to get speed.

The printer works great. Haven't used it to scan anything yet. The only problem is when you set it up. My husband said that printers today shouldn't need you to install a CD on your own computer to use it. We had to set it up twice because the first time it changed our wireless router configuration and we needed a security code to install on our laptops. Had to go thru the setup again to figure out how to bypass the security feature of the router. Very big pain.

This little machine has the options I need while taking up a small space. I would have given it 5 stars, but it tends to last only about a year and then needs to be replaced. Get the extended warranty.

I'm not usually high on Canon printers because they seem to drink ink. That has not been the case so far. It does a reasonable job with good print quality and speed. I especially like the way it prints on both sides of a sheet of paper with no involvement from me.

Really enjoy this printer. It seems to do everything and the print quality is outstanding. Solid build with everything saying it is made with quality. Ink cartridges seem small but last decently. I purchased an outside inkjet kit cheaply for replacement. Great printer. Love the Airprint also.

It was easy to setup, connected to wifi very fast. The only issue I find with it, is that it comsumes ink a little faster than other MX printer I have. Printing quality is very good.

This is a great printer and has lots of extras that normally increase price significantly. The automatic document feeder and duplexer are great to have; I didn't realize how nice it was until this printer. Absolutely nothing to do to get Airprint to work and now the family is able to print from their iPhones and iPads. I like the ability to scan from the printer directly to my laptop or to a hard drive.

I'm very happy with this printer. Great print quality on all sorts of documents. Impressive print speed whether wireless or direct connect. Haven't had a single problem since installation.

No issues so far ; I have scanned / printed all wireless from two different laptops. My only major complaint is that there are too many Canon Utilities installed (Navigator / My Printer / Canon Solution Menu / NetWork Scanner). Some of them duplicate functionality and some of them provide with unique functionality. Also, adding the Legal 11"x17" option to this printer would make it perfect.

Very nice machine easy to work and install. Family loves it we use Window's and Mac on it . Makes the HP we have had not look very well.

Other than the fact that it seems to take a bit of time to warm up this printer functions great. Only function I haven't used is the fax because I've been too lazy to run a phone line to the printers. Other than that everything else is functioning like a champ! Got it on sale plus with reward zone bonus bucks, it was obtained at a price that couldn't be beat. Haven't been using it too much yet so can't comment on the ink consumption.

Continually have to reboot the printer to allow print jobs to go through with wireless - or have to wait a long time for subsequent print jobs to start. The wireless transmitter is within 4 feet pf the printer and the signal is at its strongest with excellent strength to computer as well. Switched to wired connection and do not have to wait for print job to start. Subsequent print jobs start immediately with no delay - even if sent hours later or the next day. Default profiles by type of document do not work properly.

Overall this machine is beautiful, the design, the way the engineers and designers really looked at ways to keep the parts lasting longer with the printout door is kept closed but only opens when it is being used(printing) but that could be an idea or a design fluke with no purpose intended, simply a design purpose.

Bought on Deal Of The Day and got a great deal. Sleek design. Nice features. Love Canon. Soooooooooo much better than the HP junk I've owned in the past. Super easy to set up.

Nice looking, much smaller than our previous model but contains all the great features of a quality all in one machine.

I use the printer several times a week. On average once a week there is no response from the printer. Solution efforts usually require 30-60 minutes and can consist of some or all of the following: power off/on the printer, computer, router and cable modem, resetting cables/electrical cords, re-entering router password and resetting the printer paper and ink-jets. I like the quality of the print when I use the copy feature and when the printer prints from my computer. Though having to trouble-shoot and resolve the printer when it can't be reached is an effort that interrupts my work day which equates to lost productivity. After four months I'm ready to replace it with another make/model.
