Great printer. Have had Canon printers before and they last somewhat better than other brands I've used.

What a printer! The wireless capability coupled with its dashboard which mimics the functions of a small computer really strikes me as impressive. Having never owned a wireless printer before, it never ceases to amaze me how handy this capability is when it comes to printing from multiple devices, from IPad to desktop. The only problem is the ink is ridiculously expensive.

I haven't used all the features yet; all I've done is print documents. I haven't tried scanning, or printing photos yet, so I can't comment on those features. I bought it because I originally had a Dell 515W that kept giving me 'printhead error' and I finally had had enough of that. Canon printers are rated very highly on Consumer Reports as well.

I have had two HP printers in the past 2 years both did not last. Everyone told me to get a Canon you can't go wrong. They were right. it is perfect.

It is so nice and very high quality printer. If you have it you do not need another one.

I purchased this mainly due to a sales associate's recommendation while at the store. She said this was a better value because of the seperate ink cartridges, and prints better pictures. I have tried every setting, and still have challenges receiving faxes. It wants to receive faxes at any specified time, whether I answer the telephone, or whether the answering machine picks up--the fax tone kicks on, and makes it difficult.. I have found that I need to keep the printer turned off unless I am using it. Canon support is not available on weekends or evenings, so in effect there is no support for someone who works. I even tried an email, but never got a response. I will go back to my HP products the next time.

Up to now I have always used HP printers. This is the first time I am using a Canon printer, and in the short time I have been using it, I am very satisfied. I am looking forward to making use of the many features this printer has in the future.

The set up was easy, the print quality is superbe I'm a happy guy.

Bought this printer a few weeks ago, and NO complaints!! It runs like a champ, the wireless works great!! Definitely recommend!! It is on the big side, it is a large printer - so you will need some space for it, but it works great!

Much better than the 830; more compact, higher resolution for photos and more features. Have only had it for a couple of weeks and not used it much.

Good printer for home use. Like the duplex function. Don't have to flip and reload the paper

I really like this printer, but when we changed to a different service provider, they changed the configuration on it & as of this minute, it does not work. The Geeksquad is coming to fix it!

I own a Mac and the printer was easy to set-up. I didn't have any issues following the instructions provided.

Good buy. Have had good luck with Canon printers over the years. Like the fact that it has individual ink cartridges.

Easy to set up. easy to use. Responds well and the wifi works great.

Improve the user interface, e.g. a clearly identified print option that just says "economy" to print light and save ink. Still haven't figured out how to manually load label form.

We bought this and I loved it, until I had to highlight stuff on my page. It smeared the ink and the paper was printed the night before so I know it was dry. It is going back.

certainly could use a getting started information booklet on all its functionalities to make it easier to get used to
