Love this printer for my small business
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Canon PX922 printer in January 2016 and it has been a workhorse. I have not had any problems with it and I use it every day and for many multiple copies of documents. My printer is very reliable and I feel the quality is great. I highly recommend this for your small business or home office.

Good Color But Slow And With Error Messages
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to replace my MX882 printer and this was the closest one available. It looks similar. Once it starts printing it's faster than the MX882, but until it starts printing the print head keeps going back and forth for about 45 seconds, making it overall as slow or slower than the MX882. In addition after using it for a day I kept getting an error message that another computer was using the printer. I don't have another active computer. That error message has apparently plagued this printer at least for several years. Canon has to come up with a fix for this. So, it prints great, if you're patient, and if an error message like I mentioned doesn't totally aggravate you as it has me,with with no fix from Canon after this has been an active complaint for several years.

Works
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not then best. Its has its moments. Thankfully I had the geek squad insurance. I was able to replace the printer two times. I appreciate that I got them all on sale. We use them at the office. The generic inks are cheap. So I guess it's worth it.

Good Home Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good all around home printer. It is easy to set up for wired and wireless. It has very good print quality. I especially like the duplex printing and the separate photo tray. We have several iPads and iPhones in the house, so the AirPrint feature was a must. All in all a good printer with good features.

Absolutely great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned many, many computers & printers over the years, but this is, without a doubt, the best inkjet, all in one printer I have owned. From wireless IPhone/IPad printing to scanning, this printer simply does what it is supposed to do! It has a large paper tray and the two sided printing is amazing.

Excellent printer, great value

Slow and loud. What happened to Canon printers?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a longtime loyal Canon fan. I previously owned two other Canon printers - which were both fast, reliable and quiet. The latest one (MX882) suddenly stopped working after about four years and so I started looking for a replacement, and purchased the MX922. .. However, this latest model is completely different - loud, slow and clanky. It takes about four minutes to "warm up" (even though I haven't turned it off) to print something in the morning. And it shakes and makes clanking sounds (even in "quiet mode") even AFTER the paper has already printed out. It's the weirdest thing. When I phoned Canon, they told me this was "normal." It's so disappointing. - and so different from the previous models which were fast, quiet and reliable. ... So sadly, I'm going to have to start looking for a new printer again - and this time, not a Canon. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Easy setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a printer to replace my Epson. This one was priced right (under $100) for my part time printing needs. Color is excellent, setup was fast and easy. Printing is slow to get started but then prints quickly. Easily prints on write able cd's and dvd's.

Fantastic!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought to be an all around office and home printer about 6 months ago and have had zero issues. AirPrint works great every time, wifi connection to other home computers still works (unlike previous Epson that started disconnecting 2 months in), and print quality on docs & photos is perfect. Very much recommend!

Nice four-in-one printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a printer that could print directly to CDs and DVDs. After much research I found this Canon printer. It works very well for labeling CD and DVD disks. It also does well with scanning and copying. I have never used it for faxing. This was a very good purchase for me.

So-So
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you won't have to share the printer with other computers, or if your printer does not actually need to be Cloud Print Ready, this model will do a very nice job with documents and a so-so job with photos. Having to share the printer resulted in having to uninstall and reinstall the software repeatedly. Trying to make it Cloud Print ready proved impossible, and the ink is *expensive*. I've printed better photos using printers with combo color cartridges. I purchased a replacement today; my 922 goes to Goodwill tomorrow.

Good printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a good printer. The first time you print something after it restarts it takes a while to finish but fine after that. Set up is easy.

Good Printer - Great Quality - Poor Ink Usage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this printer - the automatic scanner tray and the print quality is great, but the ink usage is pretty poor. It burns through ink, especially when it is preparing the ink cartridges.

Worst in category
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cannot give this a good review because none of the features this offers [all-in-one multifunction, individual ink tanks] make it an outstanding value--especially since other manufacturers [Epson, Brother, and HP] all offer the same features and functions in this price range. The one feature it offers that few others offer is the capability to print directly on CD/DVD/BD discs which have the finish for inkjet printing. What makes it a poor value is the software--which only allows printing labels from a menu of pre-formatted and designed labels and does not provide a user with any advanced features for designing his/her own labels. Nor is the unit compatible with any third party software. I tried several: Roxio, Nero, Avery, MediaFace, and ExpressIt and none of them worked. The only workaround is to design the label in a third party software, print it as a photo, and then copy and print to the disc--a process which yields visibly inferior image quality. My advice for anyone who needs a printer with the capability of printing to disc is to purchase Epson or Brother--brands which offer far superior design software.
