I have owned 4 the first one i returned 2 months after purchase i thought i got a dud because at first it print good but then that darn paper jam message started and there was no jam it will slightly pull the paper about 1/2 an inch and it was telling me a jam i returned it ad got the same one i needed another one at this point it was on sale so i bought another one the same problemmmmmm i opened the new one and OMG right out of the box YES!!! paper jam so i went back to the store i must say best buy guys are AWESOME they helped me out all they could I hate this printer PROBLEMS, I have given up i'm fed up i now feel i have a head jam 2017 and canon can't make the printer work besides this is a BIGGG NOOOO for me the printer does not print border less and yes i did everything to find the problem i'm not new to computers or printers i'm a pro, save your self the headache the gas and find something better i hope i do would i recomend this printer, YES! to my enemies and people i don't like

I bought this Canon printer for my office. From the start this printer was a headache. Adding the driver package failed and I had to uninstall and reinstall. I installed drivers on both a Mac and windows. Both had the same problem. This should work wirelessly but fails at that. Even when connecting to the USB directly it still takes 5 minutes or more to start. I should have taken it back to the store! Instead I thought once it was set up it would work. NOPE! This printer tells me it's out of paper, but it isn't. Taking the paper out realigning doesn't seem to do the trick. If it does start printing it sounds as if it's going to breakdown, with all the creaking and snapping. Most of the time I am just waiting to get something to print. This is a lemon!

My husband bought me a Canon 920 Pixma series printer about 4 years ago and it’s been giving me trouble since then. When I turn it on and start to print, it seems like it’s thinking before it prints. I mean it actually takes about 2 minuets before it starts to print and I mean this is right before I print and print another right after. It’s so frustrating, because I don’t have all day to wait for it to decide when it wants to print. And now when it prints, it’s slurring and crunching the words together. It’s unreadable. I have taken very good care of it, always covered when not in use and looks brand new. I can’t take it back, because it’s to late, but the next one I purchase, will surely never be a Canon.

1st one display would not light to allow operation, returned for another. 2nd one everything worked great, print, scan, except would not FAX. Gave up after ten times to different numbers. Returned again. Not sure what to get next

Don't know if it's googles fault or canon, hate it

Returned first unit after 3 months when it stopped scanning. Searched Manual and web for info on error message with out success. Set up new unit and it would not communicate with PC. Reinstalled software, relinked printer, still no luck. Manual useless for troubleshooting. Filled in extensive form (everything but shoe size) to contact Tech Support, never heard back from them. Will return this and get an Epson or HP.

I purchased this printer 3 months ago. It faxed ONCE and has not faxed since. It rarely prints. I keep getting the message, "Airprint Printer Not Found", or "Printer Offline". I have phoned, emailed and chatted with Canon support reps for the past 3 months and NO ONE can fix the problems. Canon even sent a replacement printer. The replacement printer had the same issues, so I sent it back. I am now waiting for Canon to respond to my last email requesting them to purchase back the printer.

The first time I used this printer to print pictures, it got jammed after 5 pictures. I took it back to the store. They gave me a new one. My daughter had a project to do and needed one picture. I hesitated because I didn't want it to get jammed again. I thought, what could one picture hurt. So, I was very careful to put the photo paper in exactly as I should. Guess what! It got jammed again. You cannot reach the photo paper from front or back. So, I will be returning this, yet again. I will NEVER buy another canon printer again!

We bought this printer to replace an HP Officejet 8500 which I thought was the worst printer ever until we bought this one. When we bought this printer last May it worked great, but a few months later when school started back up and I needed it for homework assignments, it would rarely print, it's impossible to use, even for me. It takes forever to use this printer, when it should only take seconds, steer clear of this printer.

After only three barely used years, this thing is junk!..I got the "printer needs repaired" error which I've been able to reset four or five times. But now its not resetting, I would think Canon could build something that would last at least five years.

They said this printer works great for rural folks with sketchy Internet access. We could hard wire the printer to the Mac. Perfect for us...until we had to download the printer driver ... Over the Internet! Now I have to drive into town and find a business w Wifi or drive back to Best Buy (1.5 hour drive one way) to Return it. Shouldn't the printer drivers be on the CD that comes with the printer?

I have owned and setup many computers and printers over the years. this is the absolute worst experience ever. Install ink cartridges and receive error messages that will not allow you to proceed. On screen message says if problem persists, consult owners manual. Download the owners manual. Cannot find information on setup. In 2016, this should be a simple process.

After 6 hours of trying, I could not get the scanner to work. Plus most of the documents I tried to print went to the small-size upper paper try meant for photograph paper, which wasn't what I had in mind. Could not find a workaround. As a software professional, I found the problems to be over the top. So I returned it. no thanks!

Got an error BX200 or something like that after almost exactly 1 year. Purchased 03/27/2016 and it is now 04/11/2017, very convenient. From everything I have read this error means the print head is dead and needs replaced and or serviced. Definitely would not recommend purchasing.

I didn't listen to the reviews when I bought this printer. It now absolutly refuses to pick up paper in the lower tray. There is a ton of paper pick up problems with this printer on the net. I do all the recommended cleaning procedures and it will not pick up the paper. Don't buy this printer. I just tossed $100 down the toilet!!!

I purchased this item and opened the box, saw it was huge and closed the box up to return it.

For a printer that is advertised as a network ready wireless AIO, this device is S L O W. And I mean 5 minutes between every print job slow. Don't know if there is something wrong with the printer itself or my network settings but I can't recommend this printer at all. If you must buy it, try using a USB cable.

This printer is a terrible if you have OS X. It doesn't stay connected and you have to constantly reinstall the software for it to print one time and this is usually 45-60 minutes of time. The printer goes to sleep and is not functional.

this printer is junk! install of software take 30 minutes of more... desk top application is slow and awkward. the printer is very slow the scanner is slower there is a reason why the price is so low ... this machine is junk! this machine would be a insult at a dirty santa party!

Will not consistentlyconnect with my WIFI. I've spent HOURS! If it does it takes 5+ minutes to print. I have a HP that is great. RUN don't walk from this waste of $$$ and frustration. This is a minus star
