  • Inadequate Support ... Without INK It's Useless

    I tried to buy refill ink at time of purchase... but it was unavailable. I brought the printer home and immediately tried to order ink online before opening the box. After nearly a month wait I cancelled my online order and tried every major distributor in my area. No one had the ink. Even the Cannon website only sold the inks as separate items. There were no replacement kits containing all the required inks. I am sure it is an excellent printer, however if the ink is not readily available it becomes a VERY EXPENSIVE door stop.... I returned the product unopened and received a full refund.

    Buyer Beware this printer does not stay connected to wifi. You have to constantly download the drivers and install them. This is a piece of trash never had these problems with HP or Brother.

    I really like this printer, printing on the sample picture paper it comes with so much detail! So easy to put ink in too. Everything is perfect to me. I highly recomend. Especially if your into projects, cricut stuff. Wife into that and she loves it

    This is a large and heavy (substantial) printer. Connected to a Mac Mini using ethernet home network. Software provided on disk installs easily and readily detects and sets up the printer. If one reads the manual before testing the print quality, test print is easy. HOW the various size photopapers is not clear unless your read first or "fiddle" later. Overall quality is excellent. Best Buy shipped direct free quickly arriving BEFORE the projected date.

    I am a photographer and have been printing photos using online professional labs for years. After reading reviews on this printer for months, I decided to give it a go. Did not disappoint me at all. The print quality matched or surpassed any professional lab quality. My only issue is that the prints come out slightly darker. But that is nothing that can’t be fixed. If you are a photographer looking to buy or own a good quality printer, this is for you. Highly recommended.
