I like the item but wish the help portion was better

The price is right........but nothing else is right with this printer/fax machine. The fax NEVER worked. The printer has a Tiny area to install ink cartridges and the ink barely lasts as this printer uses too much ink. The tiny window on the top is barely visible and difficult to use when problems occur....and problems always occur. My last printer was an Hp and lasted 12 yrs.......this one not even 12 months

This printer works good, not the best but not the worst we have bought.

I just got this Printer 2 weeks ago, and it works fine! Couple of things I don't like about it: 1-It doesn't hold much paper. 2-When the paper comes out, it flies to the floor even though the paper 'guard' is extended out completely.

Very hard to set up. Cannot set up Wi-Fi. It’s just sits there collecting dust in my office so we’ll probably have to buy a new one that is easier to use.

This thing absolutely will not remember your network or stay connected, total crap. Literally every single day it will go to sleep and wake up with amnesia. Have to re-enter network info every single time. Scanning is even more hilarious as it gives you a USB option but there’s actually not a a USB port on it. Seriously?? And the Pixma app is easy enough to use, but scanning to it or using it to start a scan doesn’t work. I really don’t even know why they made this, and I was skeptical going away from Brother or Epson, so I should’ve trusted my gut.

The printer was on sale when I purchased it. During setup I found out why. Canon's Website sites: The risk of this vulnerability is the possibility of the private key for its RSA public key being exploited by a third party due to the incorrect generation process of the RSA key pair. If the RSA key pair is used for TLS or IPSec, which was generated by the cryptographic library with this vulnerability, the RSA Public Key can be used to guess and possibly decipher captured communications by a third party. I felt like I lost my money.

We purchased this for my kids band director. He needed a good quality machine. This machine served the purpose and more. It was a good choice and you should make the same.

If I could give zero I would & not bc of setup or the way it works bc that’s ok. Well, setup was easy bc I saw on YouTube how to set it up. The problem is the ink. I literally used this printer about three times using about 4 pieces of paper total & the ink is completely out. The paper didn’t even have a lot of writing on it. (No exaggeration on how many times I used it.) The cost is for new ink is $30.00+ (& we’re talking every 4 pages). My printer says the color ink is half full, but it doesn’t print on the paper. Smh…Canon’s big ink scam!!!
