i only purchased this printer because i needed a trade in replacement for the pixma 8320 and it is no longer in stock. i figured this would be the closest based on brand and specs but i hate this printer with a passion. it uses ink faster than my car uses gasoline, the ink is expensive and hard to find. it also will not stay connected to wifi. i might give it away just to be done with it.

Having trouble connecting to my WiFi, small screen does not light up

Couldn’t get help to set up over phone and Geek squad couldn’t come out for two weeks. Paper continually jams. Poor internet set up instructions. If you would take it back, I’d be happy to exchange it for another brand. I would never buy s Canon again.

Connectivity was easy and works as well as expected but uses alot of ink

I didn’t work,,,, it kept giving me 3 error codes that couldn’t let me set up the wifi connection , I took it back to bestbuy and they refused to exchange it cuz I had passed 2days of returning policy.

It will do in a pinch, but the picture quality isn't that great

This is a great printer easy to connect and I like it prints thanks on 2 sides

Copy function is set too dark and uses Black toner extremely fast

Still have not been able to scan any paper through the feeder, they all get jammed. This is very inconvenient

Worst Canon printer I have ever bought. After multiple attempts, tech was not able to connect printer wirelessly. I returned it and have no desire to buy this particular printer again.

This printer has poor printing quality; especially on multi-line documents.

Always have issues with it. It will either stop printing halfway or wont print all together. It's very, very rare that I don't have a problem printing paper. I've wasted a lot of paper on this piece of junk of a printer. DO NOT BUY. You have been warned. Good luck.

Very slow. Not what we expect. Its not user friendly.

Printer stopped working after first use. First page I printed had lines and smudges all over. Did all the troubleshooting canon recommends in manual and nothing worked.

Ink uses up quickly. Can't figure out how to use. Online manual too convoluted. Didn't get free Microsoft 365 trial. Free trial with another purchase not being given as advertised. Probably won't publish this review.

You get what you pay for. But will get most jobs done.

All is working well with my canon printer. A great value at nominal cost.

Frustrating to operate....manual is only available digitally, rather than print! Now it is stuck - saying it should be connected to the power and to the computer for diagnosis and yet it is and it is refusing to work!!! I am going to bring it back and get a SIMPLE printer that prints and copies and scans!!!

Wi-fi and combo ink cartridges are cheaper than the previous printer.

Is really slow when hooked to WIFI. Uses way to much ink.
