Who in the world designs printers these days? They should be fired. The printer runs great, but it is a pet peeve of mine for things to be out and about. I cant stand that the printers paper is not enclosed. Theres certainly enough room that they could have had it stored vertically, underneath. However it hangs out the side of the printer and is not enclosed. Therefore it can accumulate dust and such. If you just need a printer this will do well, but i dont like the design.

This is a terrible option for home printing over wifi. I have been trying for the last 1.5 hours to connect it to my MacBook - sometimes it get 50% through the process. I got all the way through installation and then there is no printer to add and no explanation as to why it doesn't show up. Honestly save your money and buy something else that can actually connect to a computer

Broke after first time using. Papdt jam caused it to mot work.

Would not buy this product. Difficult to connect with wi-fi, prints unevenly, lines run vertically through printed pages. Wanted to not spend a lot for a seldom used printer-I got what I paid for.

Printer use too much ink. Had to buy an extra cartridge.

This printer is light weight and easily moves around when setting up to use. It is quite noisy-doesn't bother me in my home office, but may be bothersome in another setting

Purchased mid March. Opened it up 3 weeks later to begin connecting to my computer. I was having issues connecting so I contacted the support center. After they were unsuccessful assisting, they recommended I take it back to Best Buy. Best Buy would not accept an even exchange. Poor customer service.

Sorry to say, this is the worst printer I've ever owned. It's only a few months old and I've wasted way too much time fixing jams and other problems. It ran out of ink withing the 1st 2 week and a few weeks later it tells me the toner needs to be replaced. Very expensive. Needless to say, I'm going back to an HP.

This printer never works. Turns off so never on when you need it. Always has error when printing. Do not buy.

Seems well enough for an at home printer but for what we needed it for it was far too slow. It also crumpled all of the papers when we tried to scan them.

A minuscule status window that doesn’t rotate (not good if under a shelf), the various setting keys are difficult to maneuver, and the ink has now been discontinued (over $100 for both on that A store). I bought this for my elderly father and throughly REGRET it. If you don’t need something simple and don’t need ink, this is the printer for you!

Don’t buy. The black ink is not very black but a grayish black and not pigmented black. As a result, the printout, even on high quality is like draft mode on my last canon MG4620.

No manual comes with printer (have to try to get it online) When I tried my computer came up with trojian virus attached to download and locked up my computer.

Had to buy ink twice within three months of having and very little printing:/

I really dislike this printer. The ink doesn’t last long at all and in my opinion this was a complete waste of my money. Best Buy only gives you 15 days to return this item and I was unaware of this. I literally just opened the box 2 days ago and realized that it’s not a good quality printer for my line of work. However I couldn’t return it due to the return window being closed. Now I’m stuck with a useless printer. Needless to say, I’m not satisfied at all.

Was recommended by employee for use on transfer paper after I explained in the past canon printers have printed out random streaks of lines. Took it home and it did the exact same thing.

We returned this printer. It had difficulty connecting wit h our IMAC and IPad. When it did connect , it was very slow at printing.

Having difficulty with the set-up, I called Canon for help. The help offered was $150 software. I will never purchase Canon again.

What appeared to be great value turned into a waste of money.After less than 4 months light use, the black print no longer works. All cleaning functions were performed and two replacement ink cartridges inserted and still not working correctly. Surrendered in frustration and purchased a Brother All in One as replacement for more money.

I purchased this to print copies of a simple 8x10 black and white photo. The color isn't consistent and all I wanted was 10 copies that all were the same. I do no recommend this product. It also used up the color ink when I was only printing black and white.
