Efficient printer and easy set-up but be advised this product does not have the automatic document feeder that would allow multiple pages to be scanned at once.

i love the printer! the computer setup didn’t work though so i had to go by the actual printer itself instead, and sometimes when i turn it on it makes noise for a while but overall it’s an amazing printer and this is much better than my old hp printer

I was skeptical at first because the tray kinda lays on the bottom, but it works as it should with no complaints. I've only printed off about 20 pages. I like the front Loader and return for where I have it stationary. I just pull it out if I need to scan. Easy set up! So far so good!

Practical and easy to use. A little bigger than expected! The small display is helpful when troubleshooting. I haven't tried the double-sided printer function, but it has been reliable so far.

It does everything as advertised. My one wish is that it would have been nice to have separate color cartridges like our previous Canon pixma used. I don’t like the idea of buying a whole new multicolor cartridge just because my blue ran out…

I just installed this last night, so can't really review it very thoroughly. I did have a paper jam, easily found and remedied. I've printed a couple of pictures and was really impressed with the quality, clarity, and color. The setup was easy, I do wish the display panel were larger for older eyes. Checking the online features shows that this printer can do lots more than just everyday printing. Check it out, I would recommend this printer so far as I've used it.

This is a very basic printer but it is exactly what my mother needed. She had a highly rated HP but it kept coming off Wi-Fi, wouldn't communicate the printer ink levels to Instant Ink, would not airprint as it was supposed to, etc. She does not print/copy a lot and she is loving this printer. It prints and copies when she needs it without issue.

It was time for a printer upgrade since the one we had was well over six years old. This one does the trick, and it was on sale when we purchased it.

I've had a very disappointing experience with this printer. Every time it goes to sleep, it disconnects from the network and doesn’t reconnect automatically. This means I have to constantly restart it just to get it to appear again—which involves unplugging and plugging it back in. Restarting takes at least 5 minutes, making quick prints nearly impossible. Even when it is powered on, the printer often gets stuck on “loading data” and never actually processes the job. I’ve yet to have a single successful print by simply hitting “print” and getting a page without hassle. To make matters worse, it frequently pulls multiple sheets at once, or prints a blank page for no reason. Overall, it's extremely slow, unreliable, and frustrating to use. I would not recommend this printer unless these issues are resolved.

This is my first Canon printer and I find it to just be an ok printer overall. It is not for anyone who is running a small business. I don't like the way the paper tray in the front comes apart so easily. When you lift up the top to exchange the ink cartridges you have to be extremely careful when lowering it up and down. It is noisy when you print out items and previous printers I owned were not this loud. I think there are better printers out there on the market at this price point. I will probably buy a different brand of printer in the future.
