I purchased this printer brand new from Best Buy and it will print between 5-10 sheets and then an error message appears. I then have to re-download 3 different drivers in order for the printer to work again. I go through this arduous process about once a week.

It was okay. The mobile to print is a little confusing. Has helped me out a ton tho

I bought it because it was on sale. However, when I took it out of the box and began to set it up, the printer did not work well. It could not read the new ink cartridges provided. No matter how many times I reset the printer, it continued to display the same error. I ended up returning it and buying another printer. I will not buy this again.

Awesome printer. It’s perfect for what I needed it.

This printer has not been user friendly. I will be looking for a new printer soon.

Ink does dry immediately. Nothing to catch the paper. Can not scan. Will return it.

Somewhat slow, but for pricepoint does good job. Budget friendly.

Ink finished quick and ink is expensive, kind a slow as well.

Haven't taken it out of it's huge, heavy box, yet. I am afraid this one is not so portable as i wanted already!!!

One of the worst printers I have a location to home. Very finicky. All of a sudden after a few weeks it wouldn’t print because it needed paper when in fact, the tray was full of paper properly loaded. Will be returning the printer for a better one.

The rear paper tray fell off after 2 weeks. Cant find anything online on how to fix it

I had to buy a new printer because the old one died. The old one gave me more good years of printing than I can enumerate. The new one was the closest I could get to its predecessor, but just about everyone about it it wrong, beginning with the eccentricities of just turning it on and off. I think that it has final found stability, but I still hold my breath with every printing job that I launch.

Hard time getting it connected to my wifi. Could be a issue on my end. IDK

Very tricky to set up. Took a few hours and I haven't gotten it to print pictures from my iPhone or iPad only from my computer.

For Canon, even for the low end, this is garbage. It has no idle status and you have to click it on if you want to use it, otherwise your printer spooler screws up and it'll print nothing. All you can do is restart your computer because stopping/starting/refreshing/restarting the printer spooler will do nothing.

I didn't end up needing the printer right away - just recently opened it. Now it's too late to return it and I appear to have received a dud. It doesn't automatically connect to wireless when turned on, and goes through VERY long process to do so. And it won't print at all from my laptop, only the ipad I originally set it up with. Which doesn't print Word documents correctly. I've installed and reinstalled a number of times from my laptop, but it always says "printer is offline", whether the printer is actually connected or not. Canon help manual is of no help when you don't have a relatively standard problem.

Burns ink like nothing else. Prints are often wet with extra ink. Print quality is okay.

This is a very good product with exceptional value. The print quality is outstanding and highly recommended for home office printing.

What a piece of junk. I boy it, opened it… and it was not compatible with my NEW LAPTOP…. And no canon did not have updated software… and no Microsoft store didn’t have it… and no ease of install was a nightmare…. I boxed it bc ack up and donated it to Goodwill! Why, you may ask ? It would work with the computers sold there!
