Good product except the paper reservoir too small
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.See above, plus the paper reservoir is hard to find, access, and get paper in and out of.

Have to turn printer on ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyday time we want to print it has gone off line. My husband called the cannon they said they could help but it would cost one dollar and 37.00 a month for continuous help. We are not happy. The printer is only two months old and paying money to get help on a product is unacceptable. I am ready to take it back

NOT GOOD FOR WIRELESS PRINTING!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wireless Lan: I couldn't get the printer to print wirelessly. After installing at least 15 different apps, I found the IJ Network Utility. It stated the signal was only 52% between the router and printer. I moved the printer as suggested and the signal went to 70%. It still wouldn't print. Wireless Direct: Worked with no problem. Your computer can't connect to the internet while using wireless direct. It's only a useful feature if you're printing documents on your computer and doesn't require internet access. Bluetooth Printing: The printer never appeared as an available device when my laptop *Microsoft Surface Book. That was a BUST. The only option left to print is to attach a cable to the printer. If I wanted to use a cable ANY PRINTER WOULD WORK. This is no good for me.

Look for a different one.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Difficult to use. I don't even know where to start. There is no sense of it breaking but the front part almost immediately came into my hands like other reviewers have stated. The way you have to set up the front part every time is just a nuisance. My advice is to look for a different one.

Printer Driver Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice printer. Lousy printer drivers!! Can't printer continuous jobs without clearing the last job and starting a new one...even though the last job did print. Software not purging the previous job on an intermittent basis...frustrating.

Weak product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have owned Canon printers for many years. When it was time to replace our printer (MX922), we returned to Best Buy for another Canon all-in-one printer. The TR8520 sounded like a good match. WELL, in our opinion, it is a weak replacement. It is lighter (almost to the point of feeling cheap), slow to print, oftentimes swinging back and forth between offline/online, erroring out, and oftentimes not printing without fiddling with it. When it did print, it wouldn’t clear the cache and would hang for 5+ minutes before attempting to print another document. We are returning it after 3 weeks of printer hassle.

It sucks! :)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had about 6 Canon cartridge printers. Each a downgrade the first except for the 850.... The 850 was the best. All after the 850 has been downhill. The 922 wasn't too bad. I expect the 8520 will be my last Canon purchase. The 8520 is cheaply made and user UNfriendly!
