Not working properly after 8 months
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this in June 2020, everything was working fine till recently, I can’t get my Laptop to print on it and now my iPad and iPhone can’t find any Air printers. I been trying to figure out what to do but it’s super frustrating.

Horrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sat in a box for a year Pulled it out to use it. Go figure. One month later it’s dead with an error like the rest of the reviews I see now. No support from canon

I Only Used It 3 Times Max
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I barely use this and it’s already jammed. I ordered it in May but didn’t unbox until about late June early July. I keep getting a message about a paper jam and followed the instructions given and it still says the same thing

Not impressed with this printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not liking this printer. It is not intuitive, the paper tray doesn't hold much paper, the readout display gets stuck on "processing mode", etc. Not making friends with this printer at all.

just a ok printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is just ok. I would buy something else next time. It turns off by itself, so every time I need to print something I need to go downstairs and turn it on which is a pain in the neck. My last cannon just stayed on all the time.

Totally disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer, as it was becoming harder to get ink for my trusty Epson. When I finally ran out of ink on the Epson, I tried to set up this Canon. The "easy start" took me about 3 days, and it still does not scan to my PC. After looking at a forum where someone else had the same issue, the forum guru finally gave up and said to contact Canon. I am not willing to do that, as I also discovered that the ink replacements are super-expensive, and not available in a lot of places. The paper tray is a joke; you have to "wake up" the printer all the time. I am going to cut my losses and go for the Epson 2720 Eco-tank. I will be so happy to be rid of this piece of junk.

Not my favorite
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer has been a pain from the get go. It prints OK, but for the longest while it would get hung up before it would connect and print. Had to reinstall everything to fix that issue. Still have problems with the settings. Very frustrating printer!

DO NOT BUY!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a horrible printer! If I could give negative stars, I would. Words cannot express how much frustration I have experienced from using this printer. Expensive ink cartridges, daily disconnection from wireless, need to uninstall/reinstall daily, printing errors, etc. Until purchasing this printer I always bought Canon printers. This printer has pushed me to find another manufacturer to support. If you are considering this printer, let me reiterate "DO NOT BUY!"

Best Buy good company
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer worked out of box but stopped taking paper a week later. After inserting and reinserting the paper error message still chimes. Had cannon mp830 printer and found its quality and print is far superior. Planning to return printer.

Not Expensive - You get what you pay for
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used a PIXMA 9000 series for years. I thought this would be as easy to use as the one I have. Not so. You have to "turn on" or "wake up" the printer every time you want to print or scan. The paper holder is very small.

Doesn't function well, rejects all replacement ink
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it ran out of ink we tried to replace the cartridge. It rejected all ink cartridges recommended by 'best buy.' A call to Canon got double talk & no interest in helping us. Both Canon & Best Buy get negative ratings based on this very unpleasant experience.

Not user friendly
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the Canon printer for home use. Trying to get it set up was a frustrating 2 day ordeal and it never completely worked. We did get it to work with a direct connect but wirelessly was hit & miss. So after much aggravation we decided to return it, order the HP Envy 6055 & wait the 2 week back order to receive it. Best decision ever! Got the HP set up in less than an hour, works perfectly! The Canon a huge headache...don't bother.

Upgrade to one of Canon's better models
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have Canon's better models and they are easier to operate. This model is their cheapest and it's lack of user-friendly options is notable.

Would not recommend.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first Canon purchase and probably last. I could not get fax to work and neither could Geek Squad agent who worked on it for about an hour and a half. I returned it for a different brand.

Garbage
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this piece of garbage at the end of April. Worked just fine until I put new ink cartridges in. Now I can't even get this thing to print, won't even turn off without unplugging it. Reset the settings, and nothing. It won't print, cannon has zero support outside of a manual online. Don't waste your money.

Not a good printer for work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told this was a good printer not just for photos but for other printing. The paper tray was a pain, the paper kept jamming, you could not put a lot of paper in at one time. For printing pictures it might be ok.
