We just bought this and only used it a couple times before the paper started jamming on us. I want to return it but my husband is too lazy to eat with any returns during this time.

Poor Printer. Does not stack up to prior Canons

This printer is not user friendly. The design is not conducive for air printing as you have to make sure you turn on the power and open the front panel prior to printing. For me that means I have to walk up a flight of stairs to turn on the printer if I want to print from my tablet or phone. Additionally the printer is louder than prior models. Disappointed with Canon on this model.

Basic Printer - Color Pages Are Nice - ink are expensive - I dislike the fact that you have to manually power on the printer in order for it to print everytime you have to print a document.

It had good ratings but it was slow, “rickety” and i was afraid it would break. Took it back and got an HP that works great!

Lid with control panel has to be open to print, manual open only. So if you are in a different room and want to print something you have to walk to the printer and open the lid. Auto document feeded just gave me hassles. Scanning multiple documents, after the last page you get scan error. Time after time, every time it happened iI reduced the number of pages. Started with 16 went down to 3, and then it only work some of the time. Only constant success was scanning 2 or less pages via ADF.

    Love the scanner!

Very easy to set up. It connected to wireless immediately. The standards feature are great and I like the touch screen. Fairly intuitive and easy to use. I don’t love the paper tray but partially because I have it set up against a wall so it is little awkward but it works. The only other concern I have is the size of the print cartridges (they are very small) but I guess we will see how long the ink lasts. I was very pleased with the print quality but I absolutely love the scanner. I used the flatbed scanner and was shocked first by the quality really good compared to other printers but the best thing about it is that it recognizes that you have multiple photos and saves them as separate files directly to a memory card or your computer. I had a ton of older pictures to scan it and it saved a huge amount of time that it saved the files separately. Love that feature and would strongly recommend just for this feature alone.

I am very disappointed and Cannon hides behind the excuse they don't support XP operation systems with the printer. There tech support asked "where did I get the drivers" and I said your site, she denied knowing anything and said they couldn't have come from them. This is just an excuse and frankly they saw fit to sell me the printer that, will work with XP, and did in fact work just fine for 5 months. My first Cannon printer and my last, something is just wrong with it and they won't replace it. BIG PIECE OF JUNK, DON"T BUY!

This printer is horrible. When it did print, only one time, it was slow, clunky, and very loud. For some reason the software on the computer won't connect to the printer. Spent hours re-installing the software, trying to connect the printer to the computer and visa versa, nothing works. Canon really disappointed me with this one. And due to the COVID I can't return it and do not have a printer while I am stuck at home working and really need one. Don't buy it!

We've had consistent (allbeit differing) issues... -Documents print sporadically, sometimes repeatedly and sometimes not at all. -The initial printer ink ran out very quickly. -The printer constantly jams, crunches and rips paper. My only regret is that I had used the printer more initially to see the depth of the problems right away (during the return period). We've had the printer now for exactly three months and completely regret this purchase.

I've had this printer about three months. I absolutely hate it. I bought it to replace my 10 year old HP Photosmart printer. I'm not exactly technology challenged but I haven't figured out how to use this printer very well. It's not very user friendly at all. Definitely not plug and play. I have to re-figure it out everytime I need to use it. I spend a long time trying to get what I need out of it. It's very frustrating. I plan on going to buy a different printer real soon.

This printer is not as well made as my old printer. Appears cheaply made. The plug in cord which is magnetic won’t even stay plugged in. Very disappointing.
