I think this new machine is a pain compared to my previous Canon printer. It shuts off unexpectedly and is much less user-friendly than previous models

Bought the same printer, we had before, thought our old one just wore out. NOT this one has same annoying problem. Paper always gets stuck!

I bought this printer to print pictures for my crafts and it leaves horizontal lines through my pictures. Definitely do not recommend!!!

Keurig anyone? Many of the functions on this printer stop working unless you buy their retail ink refills. If you use the cartridges and refill them at Costco or somewhere else they will not allow you cannot scan to the cloud for example. There's no USB port either, so you can use a memory card, or something like that, but this is a cash grab pure and simple. Shameless gasp for a company determined to make money as we try to move paperless.

When we first got it we had troubles setting the printer up. Ince it was set up, we had troubles printing from our computer. We moved about a month after purchasing it and could not get it set up with our new wi-fi. It was way too much trouble to keep, so we returned it.

...you need FAX function. It's noisy, terrible GUI, and if you use the rear paper tray a lot, it's incredibly difficult to access and set up.

Each time I want to print, I have to wake up the printer. This is quite frustrating, since my computer is in another room.

Canon Packaging is a little misleading ... I cannot get it to work with my IPad2 or my Dell Vista laptop ... even with the CD, my Desktop Windows 10 will not recognize this printer... so virtually useless for me even though I have added it, on its on, to my Internet.address. Not Best Buy's fault.

I bought this printer after researching it on multiple tech sites...they lied. It’s slow: to print, copy and scan! Very expensive ink; keeps going offline from my wireless modem which is 5 feet away. Did I say that it uses VERY expensive i k and there’s no OEM ink available yet. I’m moving it from my office because it’s too late to return it.

This product has a lot of problems starting with four ink cartridges which are expensive and I don’t understand why there two black and no options to only use one ,you have to buy all of them even to replace.Another problem it won’t stop chewing my papers every time I start to print.The product is cheap to buy but expensive to maintain,I won’t recommend to anyone

The printer moves back and forth noticeably (very). Seems to work fine except very slow. Will return.

POS, would not give this to my enemy. every time i try to print it locks up, have to turn it off and restart, then it will print one document.

The printer works great if you are printing with a cable connection. However, Apple air print will not work, nor will the direct wireless printing. Unfortunately, I missed the return window as I bought this printer for my daughter to take to college.

This is a poor device. Every single little thing you want it to do is a struggle. Even just straight up printing something, it's loud and slow, and the paper catcher tongue barely does anything. The whole construction is flimsy, and the "wireless capabilities" are laughable. Better have an incredible wifi connection if you wanna use those.

The printer takes very long time to initiate print, 10-15 min over wifi. Printing from iPhone is comparatively faster but not from laptop. Its been a week and I have tried to print multiple times with same experience all the time. No technical help to troubleshoot. The print quality is bad as well (poor resolution). Will be returning the printer. Not worth the troubles.

Bluetooth part is a little bit of a joke. I have to keep removing and reinstalling.

Slow to turn on, slow to connect, slow to print. Does do double sided effortlessly.

I got a bad one, takes 2 to 3 minutes to print from phone or laptop, returned it.

Paper tray is flimsy , not sturdy and doesn’t load a ton of paper
