Worst printer ever! I bought it to print reference photos for drawing. The photos are blurry. Edges are not sharp and crisp. I even had Geek Squad reinstall it. It sucks down ink like crazy. I’de been told Cannon printers were good for photos. This product is a lemon. I wasted my money!!!

I will be returning this printer as soon as we are allowed. Even with Geek Squad's help they couldn't run the printer as wireless because it's only compatible with 2ghz not 5ghz. They said to set it with a cable which I did and the printing wasn't good quality even when setting was put to that option. Very disappointed.

This machine eats ink cartridges like nothing I’ve ever seen. New ink cartridges only last a month an don’t print more than 50 copies before saying ink is low.

This printer is more work than I bargained for or have time for. It constant asks me to register what size paper I am printing on, and gives me error messages about how the paper is installed when there is nothing wrong with it's installation. It is VERY temperamental.

What a disappointing piece of cheap plastic. nothing fits, the paper jams constantly, it is very, very slow when it does take the paper and, today it (accidentally - not) flew of it's shelf and killed itself on my floor. Good riddance. DO NOT BUY.

    Nice printer

The Cannon Pixma TR8520 is a great printer with lots of nice features. We replaced our current printer with this one and the big upgrade is the feeder. We didn't think we would need this feature when we bought our current HP printer but we really did miss it. The feeder on this printer is excellent. We have had other printers in the past with a feeder but the feeder didn't work well while scanning. Not the case with this printer. It works flawlessly while scanning multi-page documents. The other nice feature is the ability to seamlessly print from our phones. Ink/Toner usage is always a question and we haven't used the printer enough yet to say how many pages we can actually get from a cartridge. That said, installing the ink was easy (way easier than our current printer). Print quality is impressive for a printer in this price range. We don't print a lot of photos but we like the job it did on a few we tested. Last but not least, set up was very straight-forward. The step-by-step instructions worked the first time without any issues including linking it to our home network. Time will tell how the printer holds up in the long run. Based on our initial usage, I would recommend this printer to those seeking an all-in-one printer for typical home use.

Worse printer ever. Would love to return it. It’s really loud, really slow, runs out of expensive, skinny ink cartridge quickly! And, print preview is fine but the printer prints outside the margins! Quality and everything is horrible; we want a different printer!

This printer is way to confusing to operate and has no sensible manual. All I want to do is ensure that I use the paper tray and it will not do that without consistently giving me an error code that I have to add paper to the rear paper tray. It just will not let me select a paper tray.

Plugged it in, pressed power button and white light turned on. The operating/navigation screen - which is necessary for set up and functionality - never came on. No trouble-shooting guide in manual or on-line. Best Buy was great about the return. Should never have strayed from HP printers. My bad.

I had a recent need to scan documents for work. I bought this and all it did was humm. It never scanned. It never hooked up with in home wi fi. Also, extremely slow when asking it to do anything. Also, be aware. Lots of printer cartridges needed. I could see this getting expensive

If you want to be frustrated every time you try to print something, this printer is for you. By far the worst purchase I've ever made in my life. You have to reconnect to wifi constantly. It never stays connected. Sub par quality printing. Save your money and buy something else.

This printer did all that it said it would. I was a bit of an ink hog. However, the scanner failed after 13 months and can't be repaired. I would not buy a Canon printer again.

This is by far the worst printer that I have ever owned. It rarely connects to my computer and when it does it is painfully slow. Not to mention, that it goes through ink at a record pace. I would not recommend this printer to my worst enemy.

Only printed / scanned the right side of every page and kept getting an error signal prior to printing. Scan interface was too busy / too hard to use. Took it back and got an HP inkjet instead which is what we’ve had for years. Very happy with our HP.
