This printer is good if you hardly ever use a printer. It doesn’t hold very much paper and it jams every time it’s time to add more paper. The ink runs out quickly too.

Great printer for your at-home print needs!

The Canon TR 8520 is a great product. Set-up was simple. The manual was clear and concise, and I was up and running in a matter of minutes. I am using the product for personal print needs and it is a perfect size for my home office. I have used an at-home printer before but did not take note of the many features the Canon TR 8520 offers. I don't have much to compare it to, but I do enjoy its compact size, sleek design, and touch-screen. I like that I can print from my phone or laptop via Bluetooth. I can easily print event tickets or an email without having to run to my neighborhood FedEx. Total time saver. This printer exceeded my expectations as far as assembly and features. I don't know what ink cartridges typically cost these days, but I was not shocked by the sticker price when browsing online. The durability of the device could be improved. The paper tray and the panel with the touch screen seem flimsy. I was afraid I might break either one while adjusting them. Overall, I am extremely happy with the Canon TR 8520.

I've used Canon printers for years and have always loved them. This one ended up making me switch to HP. NOT GOOD FOR CHROMEBOOKS!

This thing doesn't print worth a darn. It's almost as if it used invisible ink. No amount of printhead cleaning changes it.

Easy setup, good quality with convenient wireless

I'm usually intimidated by technology, but setting up the printer was easy to do following the touch panel instructions. I scanned the QR code and the setup on my phone was completely automated. The only issue I had was inserting the ink cartridges. I squeezed the cartridge trying to remove the cap and ink leaked out on my hand. After cleaning it up, I was able to complete the installation no problem. Wireless printing and copying is fast and easy and the print quality is good. But the scanner is loud, and I could not figure out how to scan multiple pages into a single document. I was able to send photos directly from my phone to the printer. The rear tray holds various sizes of photo paper. I'm excited to finally be able to print photos at home! Overall, I am happy with the printer, and I think it will work well for home use.
