This Canon TR 8620a surprised me with the quality of the photos and artwork that it prints. I am an artist, and I paint art cards for the holidays each year. Each year, I get new commissions based on the beauty of these cards.

So far so good! My only caveat is that this printer goes through the color inks quickly so I've resorted to printing most documents in black and white.

Really liked our old PIXMA MX870 better

Compared to our Canon PIXMA MX870 that Canon would not service this printer is built cheaply. It's noisier, the interface was difficult to set up, you can't use the ADF to copy / scan two-sided documents and we find accessing the ink cartridges to be more risky since you lift the glass platen without any support. Plus - it will print directly from a phone and the photos continue to be excellent quality.

Always used ho printers, but when my last one a. 6600 but the dust, I bought another and found out had to buy only their ink so expensive, and it broke right away returned, so looked for another, saw this cannon and discovered you can buy inexpensive ink so now I'm a cannon operator. It seems to work real well, I really don't like the way the front lanak has to be in the up position to print but that's annoyance I can live with.

Printer was easy to set up and works great. Wish the paper tray was a bit bigger to fit more paper though and it is a little annoying having to lift the front flap of the machine to get it to print. Otherwise, it works great and set up was a breeze.

I actually love canon printers and especially their product support BUT I usually just print in black, rarely use color, but the ink cartridges still go down (maybe evaporation?) and need replacing. As with all ink cartridges they are expensive. THE WORST THING is, when a color cartridge needs replacing, even though I just want to print in black and have plenty of black ink in the black cartridge, the printer is disabled and won't print until you replace the color cartridge. Very irritating and inconvenient!

This printer works really well. However, it's confusing trying to figure out which paper feed, i.e. bottom or back you want to print from. Hence the four stars.

This printer was very easy to setup and has all the functions I need. It just doesn’t seem as sturdily made a the Canon printer I had for 10 years. Time will tell.

I am very pleased with this printer so far. I use it primarily for printing photos. It is easy to use and the quality of my photos is excellent. I have a critical eye for sharpness and color and this printer delivers five star results. The document feeder works well and ink use is acceptable.

Once again Canon comes through with a great printer. Very easy to use with the touch screen and pull out paper tray. Print's great pictures. Had to manually set up Wi-Fi other than that love the printer.

I purchased this item to replace my Canon PIXMA MX922, and so far, I've had no problem with it, I only wish it could receive a start-up signal like the MX922 did, but I'm still happy.

Do Not go cheep but this Canon. WiFi was not automatically thru computer. Typed in with Large screen which makes this model worth the $ money. Did not do the head aligment test and scan. Yes cheap but if I need to on photo later I will. Better than HP or Brother. 4 cartridges which mean if yellow is low replace yellow not the 1 color cartridge
