Fairly compact, easy to set up; good value and like that I can reduce or enlarge

I bought this printer for the express purpose to print photos. I had difficulties getting the photo paper to feed through the rear tray because the directions were not specific enough. There are many steps in the process. Thank goodness for the Geek Squad!! Once the printer was set up properly, I was able to print out photos--however, they came out with fine white horizontal lines throughout the entire print. Dorothy (from the Geek Squad) did everything she could think of and she finally suggested that I contact Canon directly--which I did. The Robot chat person referred me to another tech who stated that there was NOTHING wrong with the printer and that I needed a FIREWALL to protect my computer--really??? He became so angry with me when I refused to buy ($350 annual fee) a firewall from him that he abruptly disconnected. (? Scam) By the way--I already have a firewall with WEBROOT! When I changed the paper I was using the prints came out perfectly!! Sometimes it's a simple solution!

In process of learning more about my new purchase. Especially the ink tanks and how the black tanks need to be handled when replacing them. Got black ink all over my hands. Bought refill for smaller Black tank one day. There was no supply of single Black tank, had to purchase boxed set of 4 tanks, with four colors. Returned home and found the larger tank, PGBK was also empty. Had to return the next day, Had to purchase the boxed 5 tank set, with the three colors, including the small black color. This cost me over $100.00 for the Black colors that I really needed, Too bad there was no supply of the item I really needed. And, it appears the tanks use a lot of ink with ordinary use. Now I discover the colors are low in ink. And, I used them sparingly. This printer seems to guzzle it's ink supply.

I used a couple of U-Tube demo videos on how to set up and the included box instructions. Very easy, simple and fast, even the wireless set up. Print quality is very impressive, colors and black and white. good speed in printing. I love the large touch screen. Very easy to change inks. Overall this all in one printer is great for me.

As I stated, the printer cannot print four consecutive pages of a document without stopping and displaying an error message. The printer is also RIDDLED with interlock errors which is definitely a factor in the other issue, for example the printer will tell me multiple times that the display panel is shut when its CLEARLY open. These errors cause me to stop printing to troubleshoot, reboot and reprint duplicate pages every time I use it.

We like this printer. Had another canon printer which was great because it was easy to wake it up when printing. This printer doesn't wake up when you initiate a print command. you have to get up and touch the screen, even if the printer is on.'

Just what i needed and is working perfectly. I had a HP 3 in one printer before andvfrom the moment i took it home it was problem after problem. I am do happy with my now cannon printer. While i was shopping for i even met a customer in store who highly recommended also. I love it.

Bought in ‘22 and have used it for less than 600 pages of printing over that time. We just needed something for the occasional printout or photo. Has now become inoperable due to ongoing paper jams. After clearing, cleaning, and troubleshooting, it still jams up. Main cause looks to be a piece of foam towards the front after the color cartridges that has come loose and will not stay nor will it clear the paper. Disappointing considering how little we used it. It also drained through color cartridges when printing photos or color pictures and won’t let you proceed without all cartridges having the minimum level of ink, even if black and white text. This caused us to purchase a couple of packs of ink to keep on hand which now we won’t be able to use nor return. This was our first Cannon printer coming from HP and won’t be purchasing from this brand again. Our last HP lasted over 10 years.
