Excellent print quality on photos and text. Starts quickly. Control panel very intuitive. Installation was very easy on both a Windows 11 laptop and an older Chromebook. One thing I do not like is that it complete powers off if not used for a long time. I have to remember to turn it back on frequently.

So far, so good. workmanship is less than its predecessor. Quicker than its predecessor. Same type, separate ink cartridges that are easy to remove and install. I went with this because I needed a fax alternative. Most printers don't have that feature anymore.

SETUP: Sturdy, great for home office. Easy setup, cartridges easy to load. Black and white and color prints are all great!

Works smoothly and provide great copies. I did have some difficultly finding the printer on-line. I don't know wherther it was my reading or poor directions. There were good suggestions to follow up if one has difficulties. This printer replaces an earlier model of the same feathers which worked extremely will until I accidentily jammed some paper croocked on dual sided printing. NOt the printers fault but mine.

prints fast; easy set up and the price is right! I had a prior Canon for several years and it was great.

The Canon printer prints excellent copies. Paper is loaded in the bottom of the printer, which means you must lift the control panel with the video screen up to print anything. That is pain. Also try as I might, I cannot find a electronic manual to help with things like printing envelops which must load in a tray in the back. I guessed this, but you should not need to guess this. The printer does its job and I will keep it, but not user friendly.

Very nice. Received it very quickly. Was worried about setup on my Windows 10 system. The instructions and online guides made it a snap! No problems at all.

A good value for a very reasonable price. It's a little slow, but it was easy to set up, scans, prints, does everything I need it to do, and it does it all wireless. Plus the cartridges don't cost very much

A bit difficult to use scanner. Hard to find where document is saved. Printing is very slow overall. Doesn't hold much paper

Replaced my 2 YO HP printer, this Cannon is SO much easier to install and operate... just down load the driver and hook up to WIFI. No printer app needed to operate like the HP... Scans send direct to laptop from the printer control.

had a previous Canon printer/copier/scanner for over 10 years. Happy with this TR8620a. Print copies are clear and good color (black and white also good). double sided works well, Haven't used document feed yet. Scanner utility is easy to use. Overall, we are very satisfied.

I found that is was doing a nozzle/cleaning cycle after every print job, even just one sheet of paper. I didn’t have time to trouble shoot within the 2 week return period - but in the forums this problem has been noted amongdifferent models. Also, you have to manually open the control panel/cover and paper tray every time (my old MG6120 did it automatically). In truth, I dudn’t have time to fairly evaluate it.

Yes, this is a Canon inkjet printer with fax capabilities. It is bulky but feels flimsy. The paper output tray does not extend automatically so your prints might be jettisoned out onto the floor if you forget to manually extend the paper output arm. The paper loading mechanism feels like something that should have been eradicated 15 years ago - the removable paper cap fell away from the drawer the first time I removed the drawer from the printer. As expected from a modern printer, the ink cartridges are tiny which means a printer like this is simply a vessel for ink replacement sales. Setup was incredibly easy via this Canon's large and bright touch-sensitive screen. Photo printing is great, but it should be AMAZING since Canon has been doing this for years now. Text printing is supported by a supplemental black cartridge. The text printing registers to me as very good but not great. There is no excuse for inkjet printing to fall anywhere short of rivaling laser printed text in 2022. This will be a great fax machine and occasional remote photo printer. Canon should be doing much better than this!
