I needed a new printer and I have always liked Canon. Yes, they are a little noisy at start up but like the end results, this one is right up there!

For a cheap printer/scanner this is good value for money. I bought it as a back up for my Canon PRO100 printer which does not have a scanner or copier.

Good. No extra anything but solid printer. Seams a bit flimsy as of it might break. But so far so good.

Very much does what it should, but can not remote power on and the paper feed is not my liking. This is also towards the not user friendly feeling

It kept shutting itself off after 9 years for a while and there's no way to change that setting I wanted to leave it on so I could print whenever I wanted to and was unable to do so. The paper trays are cheaply built I had to search all over the Internet for software for it and the software sucked.

    WORST PHOTO PRINTER I’VE EXPERIENCED

I don’t know if this a Canon issue or I got a dud but this is the worst printer I’ve ever experienced. All I wanted was a simple,no frills photo printer and this seemed like it fit the bill and had excellent reviews. This printer goes through ink like nothing I’ve ever seen. Just from the money I’ve spent in toner, I would’ve been better served getting a laser printer. For what it’s worth, I am skilled at using printers & software regularly..but this printer doesn’t recognize any types of changes made from the app, nor the actual printer and seems to have a mind of its own.

Great printer for everyday home use. The only downside is the feeding tray is limited on the paper size.

Solid for the few things we print. Couldn’t give it 5 because doesn’t seem to stay on. Always have to push power even if been sitting for short time.

Our MX860 finally stopped printing after 10+ years of service. I would have spent $60 on an new print head which may or may not have fixed its problem. Instead we purchased this printer new for not much more than that. This is a smaller and lighter printer than our previous printer.

Been really happy with this printer. It's easy to connect with from all our devices, even our phones. Got it for it's photoprinting capabilities and it does not disappoint. Only downside is ink cartridges aren't super easy to find.

    WORST PRINTER EVER

This thing is a piece of junk. My $20 printer I got on Black Friday 10 years ago was better than this “upgrade”. It’s loud. It takes forever to print anything. It gets stuck in “printing the data” but doesn’t actually print. In the app, you can’t even adjust the size of the picture your printing. It stops in the middle of a print job. I should have returned it immediately when I first got it. Don’t buy this.

Good printer but ink doesn't last. Be aware that you have to take extra ink together with the printer purchace.

Not as easy to install as I was lead to believe. Had to get help because while I can work a computer, at 80 I can't make it work.
