The printer is small and it does not take up much space, so it is perfect for my office. I would definitely recommend this printer for someone who needs to print, copy, or scan documents! It was also easy to set up. It took me about thirty minutes to set up my printer and begin printing items.

Easy setup. Crisp and clean prints. I was able to print a packet of court documents and 2 copies of each page on the original black cartridge before having to change the black cartridge. That’s 40+ pages. Suggest buying the inkjet printer paper for even more crispy prints.

Good all around printer for basic needs, but wouldn't be a very good option if you do a lot of printing. It does all your basics, plus has a scanner built in. The set up can be done from your phone, or your computer by going to the website included with the set up instructions. Pretty simple and usual set up process and it will run a couple of test pages both front and back. The printer display is a little on the small side, so if you are like me you may need to really eye ball it to be able to read it. The printer is also a little on the noisy side while it is active, but that really isn't a big problem and you cant expect a more quiet operation from a basic, lower priced printer. The ink cartridges are always a concern to me with printers. This one uses just a basic 2 cartridge arrangement, black and color. How long they will last will be interesting, since they aren't overly large. The printer does come with both cartridges included, but nothing else other than a power cord, instructions and a sample pack of photo paper. So all in all, this is a really good option for a no frills printer/scanner. I have printed off of it several times and it always gets right to work and no huge delays over wifi. I would recommend this for a general use printer.

Excellent printer. I really liked how easy it was to install. It comes with a set of instructions and a QR code you can scan to view short videos online that make it easy to follow. I really enjoyed the bonus picture paper that was included. I printed a few pictures and thought the quality was decent. Printing from your phone is convenient and easy. All you have to do is download an app on your phone. The top feed works great and it holds a nice amount of paper. The scanning and copy are spot on. I'm excited to print more things with it! 5/5 Built Quality - mostly plastic but it seems durable and not complains from me. 4/5 Features - it doesn't have too many features but it does the job and I like this. I appreciate that you don't have to get a subscription to take advantage of the printing. 5/5 Printing Quality - Printing pictures was super easy and they come out excellent. I was seriously surprised to see that they looked even better than a $300 printer we have which struggles in printing quality photos.

Love this printer!!! It's so amazing to have a wireless printer that I can simply print anything from my phone !!! I 100% recommend!! Oh and lets not forget the affordable price !!!

I love this printer. Prints extremely well in color and in black and white. Setup is super easy. The ink runs out quickly, but it’s ok. I print easily from my iPhone and apple MAC computer all the time. Excellent printer.

My old printer broke in my house move. My sister had just bought this one and I followed her buying mine. Easy setup, works great. Price was fantastic for what I got.

Easy to set up. Print quality is excellent. Printer fluid refills are expensive which is the only downside for this affordable, quality device.

I've used a ton of printers over the past few years, both in my job and personal life. My wife is a teacher, so inkjet printers tend to get worn out quickly in our house and it seems like there is always something new on our shelf. When I received the Canon PIXMA TS6420a for review, I was hoping it would compare favorably with similarly priced printers I've used in the past. What I found was a bit of a mixed bag. First, the good: after a pretty ordinary out of the box experience, I was impressed to see Canon includes a sample pack of their high quality glossy photo paper (4x6 size) and also that the quick start guide is really just a QR code for you to scan with your phone. This isn't new, of course - what was new is that the QR code took me directly to a page with a link to the Android app which made setting up and using the printer SUPER easy. Huge kudos to Canon for that. I was also extremely impressed with the quality of the photos I got with the included glossy paper. Regular color prints for a presentation and office document were just 'good' - not mindblowing but good enough that I'd be fine printing something to hand out at the office. Also, the manual feed slot that flips up from the back of the printer is a pretty good design and makes it really easy to print envelopes or photos without opening the main tray. There really isn't anything "bad" about the TS6420a, but there's just too much compromise for me. The color ink is a single CMY cartridge for all 3 colors, which means you're going to waste a lot of ink unless you always print the same amount of each color somehow. When Red runs out, it doesn't matter if you have yellow and blue left - too bad. For me the real dealbreaker is the size of the paper tray, though. The main tray only holds about 100 sheets and it just feels super tiny. Yes, the rear flip up tray can hold plain paper, taking you to 200 sheets, but it's all just too small. If you're looking for a printer primarily for photos that does a few other things, the TS6420a does reasonably good quality photos for a reasonably low asking price. I think the costs of buying the tri-color ink will add up over time, and the low paper capacity makes this frustrating to use for home office tasks.

Love this printer. Fast with vibrant colors prints nice and tne compact size is a plus. My sister used also and was very impressed.

Perfect home printer. It’s compact size, wireless connection and print quality fit my exact needs.

Great printer for the price. However it powers off when not in use. This is not 'ideal' for a network printer. I have looked for a way to turn this power saving mode off, but can not find one. I am forced to go down the stairs turn the power on to print.

Does what I need it to do. Easy setup and printed beautifully.
